He WAS the Tigers though. I would hope his failure at Rugby would have slapped some of the arrogance out of him. They also cleaned out a number of the players who were all seemingly very tight with Bunji. I would be concerned as a Sharks fan if he went there and hooked up with the old crew tbh. They seem to be the top contenders at this stage

Did you see him come from out of the play to back up Reed for his first try for us against the Knights ?

He looked pretty quick off the mark to me.

what is the matter with people here? if it's not bashing hoffman, it's bashing hook. then if it's not bagging hook it's bashing barba. stop the negativity please. feelings exist on the internet too

Nothing wrong with expressing those agendas as long as they're kept to the right thread. Might surprise some, but others don't enjoy having the same topics derail every thread on the board.

Enough on that, much more important things to discuss like the upcoming game.

Obviously going to have to be at our best against Souths and cannot afford to play off the back-foot. They really don't have a lot of set pieces that worry me but Burgess on the fringe and Inglis can cause plenty of headaches. I really hope Hook has got the back three settled because Souths rely heavily on their kicking game to earn repeat sets and I can see GI putting up a few aerial specials to target Barba.

On the plus side, I believe Hodges up against Auva'a could be a nice win for us. The kid seemed to struggle with players running at his inside shoulder and Lafai caused him all sorts of headaches. If Hodges can stay at it and have a Benny Hunt + Matty Gillett trailing on the middle, it may create some early points. Otherwise, just play to our strengths and aim the attack on the fringes and play off the back of that.

Expecting a quality game, hopefully both teams are up to the task.

This game is a really good test for our team. On form we should win but the Bunnies are a class out fit who will no doubt lift in front of a big Brisbane crowd.

hope we keep using our bench and rotating those props. wallace played good mins on friday and i hope they keep that up. our pack needs to aim up against their big boppers and we need to turn them around with a good kicking game. keep it away from mr inglis

sutton worries me, since moving back to the 6 he's been exceptional for souths. reynolds has been pretty average.

I dont mind this as we get to see more of wallace and oates, and kennedy gets another go at starting prop up against the big fellas from souths.
