"Restructuring"

Ben Ikin also said something last night about our recruitment and retention being on hold until this Andrew Gee thing is sorted, so hopefully it's all settled soon, because we're going to need more than Milford for next season if we want to be a genuine premiership threat.

For us to be a contender next year I think we'll need the following to happen -

~ Milford to transition seamlessly into Five-Eighth, and perform well all season.
~ Hunt & McCullough to continue improving each week, especially passing and kicking games.
~ Barba & Hodges fully fit, and finding some good form week in and week out.
~ Prop signings, or some young NYC / ISC Prop's to force their way into the side.

I'm sure I've read this before (about the top four). Might have been a Paul White interview.
Top4 is their benchmark for every season, so if they fail this year they haven't met that benchmark for 3 years straight.

Yeah but surely they never expected to make top 4 with Hoffman in the halves. Top 4 is a good benchmark to have. Most top 4 teams are a shot of the Premiership.

I think most of this is pretty achievable. I think Milf might take a little while to settle into the role. Hunt and Macca look like they'll kick on. There will always be a question mark over Hodges obviously.

The one aspect I worry about is the quality and composition of our forward pack. We haven't been setting the world on fire lately. We really are a few guys short if the fringe options we have don't pick up their game.

With tinkled officially walking away from the Knights, lets hope wayne is in our restructuring plans.

Only if is not as head coach... Or in 2 or 3 years when Bennett retires we'll be in extactly the same position or possibly worse if the new coach can't handle the pressure that will come with following Bennett at the Broncos.

@brentread_7: Hearing players and staff at Broncos have been told that Andrew Gee has resigned. Will confirm ASAP

Since 50% of people seem to say "resigned" instead of "re-signed", I have no idea what it meant.

yeah this haha.

I read that as re-signed and was wondering in what capacity. Duh

I would have liked to see Gee continue to be employeed by the club in some capacity, but still so glad he is out of this role.
