Interesting.

So obviously it's not just the Sharks who want Barba. And obviously he wasn't going to be given a chance to push his claims and didn't have a chance to prove it, like some Benecolytes were sprouting.

But **** that aspect, I'm keen to know who Bennett views as the #14 in the 17. Waddell? Parcell? Jikorima? Far more interested in that than Barba.

Hopefully we don't release him unconditionally and only to the highest bidder, or at least bidders who will pay all his wages.

Feel sorry for barba. He came here to be with his kids and sort out his life. I can't help but put blame on griffin, Hoffman, Bennett and Boyd for barbas departure. I hope he goes well for his new club and kills it against the Broncos next year. Rugby league needs a firing Ben barba

Ah well, I'm glad it's over with, Barba didn't deserve to be left hanging in ISC or on the bench, but at the same token, he didn't really deserve a spot in the spine either, wish him the best of luck wherever he goes but, seems like a cool guy.

Neither Inglis or Slater have had a year as good as Barbas 2012.

Barba's 2012 season will never be repeated. It wasn't a fluke.....it was just simply, his peak.
