When Thaiday turns up, I'd argue he has been one of our best when he has played Prop. On the edge he often holds up the play / doesn't pass it when he should. He just doesn't have the speed or Fitness to play big minutes on the edge anymore. Whilst he can do some good things there, he can also do some dumb things. I'd rather him be up the middle at the moment. Whether that is at Lock or as Prop.

I don't think Napa is coming at all, what I'm saying is that we don't have enough front rowers to move McGuire.

Lock and Front Row are essentially the same position these days. Both play up the middle, usually the lock just is a bit more involved in attacking football and plays bigger minutes. Taumololo is the Cowboys biggest player and he is a Lock. Merrin is one of Panthers biggest, also Lock.

Have a look at some of the tries scored against us in that period, he got stepped too many times to count. It also made milford need to make more tackles which isn't good.

I'm surprised he is that small, looks quite big on the field. I feel like those numbers could be off, but who knows. Either way, that puts him at similar physique to Mcguire, and Thaiday is actually BIGGER than Mcguire so...
