actually he did concede a penalty. right at the end of the stint, the ref penalised him for essentially being a 3rd marker

He wasn't even anywhere near the play, just one of those penalties that Cummins pulls out to keep the NRL 'fairytale' finish alive.

Glenn and Sua were immense tonight, never stopped. TPJ got us rolling. Sims I cant fault as an impact bench player. But out of him and Haas that’s a hard one. Forwards did well against Souths, better than I thought they would. I don’t think it was an ugly win. I think they dug deep and played some good footy, moving it around a bit more and gritty in defence. Go boys!!!!!

You're confident. Bulldogs we should beat, but last year... Manly always like to bully us, the Treb bros worry me. Roosters will likely flick their switch just as the PTB crackdown loosens its grip, and the Eels are a fucking lottery.

2 from 4 I'll be satisfied with, 3 from 4 I'll be happy. We are down on troops and still fucking shaky.

I’m confident we can beat anyone if we play mistake free footy.

Hopefully this week we build on the positives of the second half and don’t completely shit the bed come next week. I feel like if we get on a run we will be hard to stop.

The first try burgess played the ball to his right hand side and simply rolled before he stood up so I guess play the balls are being dropped again. Also the pass for his line break was a good metre forward. Sims strip with two in the tackle? Why was that not called. And Sutton's try a huge way forward but the commentators make nothing of it. If that had been us coming to get Souths there would have been hell to pay. Please let Sims play like that next week. I just need to see him do two in a row. Still to see Isakko in open field running too.

A couple more things we need to talk about.

A) Are we sure McGuire is going to be right to play next week? That spear tackle in the first set was pretty ordinary, I assume he has some loading as well.

B) Milford may also be in some trouble, I didn't see this at the time, but just saw it on Twitter -

i thought milf controlled the game well he just needs to find that balance still on running and passing.

thought there were a few times souths were back peddling and he just shovelled it onto a forward. And the few times he did try to run it the defence was already up in his face.

NUT SHOT! It should be nothing, but we're the Broncos and just beat a Sydney team. 8 weeks.

It will most likely be a fine if anything for milf , he can pay it with his 20$ maccas vouchers

Not to mention, every time Cook took a scoot he was able to get through because a Burgii would lunge forward when playing the ball to deliberately take the markers out. That's been a pet play of theirs since the Luke days.
