I watched this live and I was absolutely pissed with that comment

WB let him go early to help HIM and offer HIM the chance to progress his career

How hard is it to answer the question with "No way! Wayne let me go a year early to come here and I appreciate that"???

It's not hard, so if that's how he felt that's what he would have said

But no, he admitted there was some hatred toward Wayne because that's the truth

So to me he is an upstart little shithead that thinks he is better than what he is

If his career progresses at the Tits and he fulfils his potential and becomes a QLD half for years to come, well good on him, but if he doesn't, if his career crashes and burns, I sure won't care and I'll probably even enjoy it just a little bit
 
If Bellamy comes, brings Smith, brings Croft, brings Atta Car, and keeps Bennett in an overseer sort of role, it would be pretty cool I guess.

go hard after Ivan Cleary, who is a quality coach IMO ... then get him to get his son up here, who is one of the best halves in the comp ...

then clear some space in our trophy cabinet

Why do people keep assuming Wayne let him go to further his career? For all we know Wayne said "Ash you're shit, please find another team, we will never want you."
 
Does anyone know who "supergrass" is? I mean the way he talks (language / mannerisms / pauses) sounds a hell of a lot like James Hooper.
 
The Broncs can't keep taking the moral high ground after signing Lodge. If they want premierships, they also need to learn how to bend the rules, Bellamy is the perfect candidate.
 
Bellamy needs to prove he can do well without his superstar spine first. Until then he is always in Bennett's shadow.
 
Fine, let him come to the Broncs to prove it. He is EXACTLY what the Broncs need.
 
Can't think of anyone else i would want here to take over from Bennett. He was apart of our system and knows how to make players better , much like Bennett.
Show him the money!!
 
I've been pretty critical of the Storm and Bellamy over the years but **** it, I'd take him in a heartbeat to replace Bennett. The bloke can coach and would bring an extra dimension to the club. I think he would make us a powerhouse again.

His coaching record is as about as valid as the Barry Bonds HR feats. Cheating has made both records much greater than they really are.
