On that Oates try, how good was that decoy line by TPJ! Deadset, just play him anywhere.

And Staggs, wow! Have the Broncs just unearthed a superstar...or Norman v2.0?

I actually thought thaiday was alright tonight. He ran hard without making a dent but managed quick play-of-the-balls. In contrast Simms was incredibly slow with his.
I'm not sure about the others, but the second last try was on Macca. That said, he doesn't miss many and had racked up plenty of work.
Tpj reminds me of Tallis with that fierry combativeness, just needs some maturing to hone it for when it counts.
It was good to see the players pump up sua when he got that knock on from the winger. It shows a good vibe within the team.
I don't think Boyd was bad at all. There was that try conceded, but he ran hard and took some tough catches. I was a little with how easily he was fended in the last roosters try but they would have scored anyway.
Milford has really mature as a half and you cant ask much more than what he gives.
Going forward I'd pick taggatese over Sims but leave the rest alone for now.

Keen to move Isaako to fullback. It might solve our kicking issues if we can just get the ball to him on the last.

"It was the wrong call, obviously a call from the bunker." - Trent Robinson on the Dylan Napa headshot, which was blown as a penalty 2 seconds after impact by the on-field referees.

Stupid flog can't even get his facts straight.

THAT
IS
HOW
WE
BRONCO!

Oh, and make TPJ captain immediately.

If boyd did struggle to crack 50m tonight, he needs to hand his jersey in.

Thaiday did alright, except for some stupid shit, doesn't need to be hammered on this week. There was a different style to the team tonight, somewhere in the players that are out is a combination or attitudes that are bringing the team down each week.

Did he mean the sin bin? I think that was a call from the bunker?

That Roberts try - Jharal, is that you?

That Isaako try - Locky, is that you?

Just watched isaakos try again and holy shit the move he put on Cronk broke cronks ankles.

Boyd is still struggling with that hamstring. He isn't 100%.

He clutched at it a couple of times in back play tonight. He was still being hampered by it.

We need to give him a few weeks off to get over it. Perhaps he will get back to his best when he can.

As for Napa's tackle.

If that's not leading in with the head then I don't know what is. He should be sent straight to the judiciary and sit out 2 months for that.

Isaako found himself with the ball on fifth at one point (first half I think) and sent up a spiraling torpedo bomb. Looked like a tough kick to catch.

He threw that up without getting set or anything. Obviously the play wasn't supposed to go to him. But I wonder if he should be coming in late in the count to be a kicking option? Looks like he's got a fair bit to offer in that department.

Pretty hard done by, how could anyone say he leads with his head.

It would be better than Nikorima's kicking at least.

Pre-game, the Broncos were in the sheds in a circle, mood lighting, obviously doing an honesty session.

Post-game, the forwards stayed out on the field to soak it all up.

Young kids, they can’t be up every week, but how quick can they mature? In that two hours I think they just realised what it takes and know they can do it.

TPJ, Su’a & Ofahengaue, they played easily the best game of the season that we’ve had from our 11-13. What the **** do we do when Glenn, Gillett and McGuire are back?

Something in me thinks that bonding session might net us 3 champion back-rowers who stay for unders, bide their time and use it to gain wisdom from the old heads, knowing they’ll be the future of this club one day.

tpj played a perfect role in tiring Cronk. Every one of his hit ups he charged full steam at cooper. We should be targeting every halfback like this. It's then no surprise tpj was able to eventually offload after initial contact with Cronk to put staggs through.
