What 'I told you so's'? I wanted us to sign Taylor back and was disappointed when we missed out.

I'm not saying I told you so to anyone, simply stating my opinion that he seems to be going backwards and his attitude sucks. If people are taking that personally or as an 'I told you so' it is weird but also not my problem.

Where in my post did I say I was talking about you?

I even specifically said this isn’t a shot at anyone.

FTR I have no opinion of Taylor at all so I’m not offended by any of these comments.

Playing behind a beaten forward pack doesn’t make you kick it out on the full or not find touch on a penalty or through forward passes or put it shit kicks (especially this is your only real attribute) or take players out leading to more penalties and more punishment for your forwards or an overall shit attitude.

Playing behind a beaten forward pack might make you try a little harder to get something a bit extra and maybe get a little more territory or buy a bit more time for your team to take a breather. Which in turn, if the execution isn't quite right, forces you to kick it out on the full or not find touch.

All it tells me is that he was trying to do something extra for his team and didn't have the execution under pressure. It's also something that the elite players just seem to be able to handle and pull out when needed. Taylor isn't there yet.

We have the same with Milf/Nico kicking it dead on tackle 3 which shit's everyone to tears. Sometimes the safe option is the best option, but when your team is getting flogged, some would argue there is nothing to lose.

He took a punt and it didn't come off.....pun intended.

When Corey Norman was doing similar stuff he was a pea-heart, when Ash Taylor does it he is trying to do the best by his team?

I guess everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt, although to me Taylor's actions and overall attitude don't scream team player.

The excuses this place can find to support their favourites will never cease to amaze me

Not sure what Corey Norman has got to do with it, I've never mentioned him before, but what I was meaning and perhaps didn't express properly, was that most people try too hard when they are trying to make something happen.

Milf does it, Nico does it, few players with regularity except the elite players pull their team up by the scruff of the neck with some jammy play exactly when they need it.

I don't give too hoots about Taylor, I was just point out, that as a third party with no investment in how the Titans are going, I was pointing out that he might have been trying for something extra and it didn't work.

I know if the shoe was on the other foot and Milf was stinking up a game and kicking dead on tackle 3 and kicking out on the full, I'd also be jumping up and down and screaming at them to pull their fingers out..............but that's because I actually care about the Broncos and want them to win. Someone else could look at the same game and think, Gee Milf had a go, he tried a few things and they didn't work, but he was playing behind a beaten pack and everyone sucked.

I went to bed at half time against the Canberra game coz I was so pissed off, look how that turned out. Sometimes the difference between sucking and dragging your team out for the win is a pretty small margin, but you miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

Using the same insults used on Ben Hunt to prove some peoples hypocrisy isn't really ironic. I literally copy/pasted a few and changed the name from Hunt to Milford. Plenty of hypocrites around here.

Plot twist, I never actually liked Hunt that much. I just like him more than hypocrites and double standards that I called people out on.

I get your point but I disagree on his intent. At the end of the day only one person really knows and I don't expect him to reveal.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think he has a great attitude and he certainly didn't have a great game.

But I think he was also in a lose/lose scenario. Your team sucks, you can't score any points, play it safe and you'll cop it because you're the highest paid player and you're not having a crack and winning the game for your team, have a go and it doesn't come off and you'll also cop it. Fans are fickle.

We came back from 16-0 (I think) against Canberra, but Milf and the whole team had a crack in the second half and it came off. If it didn't he'd be copping it like Taylor even though the whole team was shit........fine lines.

He is the one that choose to go to a shit team and be the highest paid player, he is also the one that decided to stay at a shit team and be the highest paid player even when he was offered a lifeline. So he cops what comes with that. Same as Milf cops it when he has a shit game.

Sure, I'm just trying to add some anti-hysteria to the mix......doesn't seem like it's working though.

I get it but I'm not hysterical, I am discussing a player from another team that was one of our juniors, I really don't see the issue. In any case I will leave it there because I don't think there is anything else that is left to be said.

Was tongue in cheek. I don't think you're being hysterical. Shoulda added a smiley face :P

Im not saying knik is our answer or is even good at the moment but i find it funny that people blast him for his shortcomings, then next second they go on about how taylor is young and still learning lol...

Taylor is 1 year younger but with 40 games more at halfback. Whats easier to learn? Tactics and kicking or running and supporting instincts. Both may neither get there, but if taylor was in a broncos jersey and playing the way he has this year and even half of last year would we be so forgiving of his shortcomings? I doubt it...

Thing with Taylor is he probably compliments what we have better than Knik. Yes he was rubbish against us, but generally he has a strong kicking game. Thats what we sorely lack. For us going forward, we just need to find a half who compliments and is different to what we currently lack. They dont have to be a superstar as a fit and firing Milf is a superstar imo. We just need to let him play his natural game and stop trying to make him into a game controlling half. He isnt one.

On the topic of milf not being a game controlling half, wouldn't you agree his game controlling has gone up a level this season? After focussing on it solely the first half, it seems the last two games we are starting to see his running game. Isn't that what you'd want from a mil per season player, someone that works on their shortcomings and in turn makes them a better player? I'm all for milf learning some game control - it's only going to keep paying off long term, and in turn, lengthen his career

He is still rocks and diamonds for me. Does some incredible stuff, then on the flip side he makes some really basic errors. Defence has got better, i just think he thrives more when he isnt tasked with being the main playmaker.

Yeah ideally he could have been someone's understudy or had a better partner to work with. Imagine if Milfs last few years were next to someone like Cronk
