This team performance makes me not care.
There is something wrong in the organisation for that lack of heart.

There are a few Hayne like egos developing in this squad. Big heads who have achieved nothing but a few good games .

This game was lost with Isaako's missed penalty, Oates brain dead knock back for the Dogs first try, and Boyd fucking up a sitter of a try.

Those three incidents combined early on and their heads dropped like a sack of shit. Mentally weak as piss.

I really don't know what Oates was meant to do. If he catches it they can tackle him in the air but sure as heck they were going to carry him over the sideline if he caught it. So at this point he's trying to keep it in play knocking it back to where it's not unreasonable to expect his centre might be. No wonder he doesn't want to be a winger.

In hindsight he probably should have just jumped and pretended to compete and hope for a bulldogs mistake. The kick didn't give him much margin for error.

An away final anywhere would be aids.

I just dont think the sharks
Obviously a dire performance but we were coming off a couple of good wins. Hope to learn from it.

Bennett saw it coming..... it is a concern that he wasn't able to get us up for it though.
No excuse! How the **** does a team become complacent at this time of the year and in the position they’re in? Unacceptable from professional athletes.

He batted it straight into the bread basket of an unmarked Bulldogs player. It's on Oates whether we like it or not. He should have let the Dog he was contesting with mark it and just tackle him.

Same thing happened against the Warriors. Why is it that we suddenly feel like we can win just by showing up?

I know we have an inexperienced team and there will be inconsistency but there's something seriously wrong with our mental approach to certain games. It is something that has to come down to coaching.

Distinct lack of leadership in the team. Boyd’s not the most influential of captains but who else is there? Our senior players in Thaiday, Mcguire & Macca offer nothing in terms of steering this side or helping Boyd.

Lets all just remember back to this time last week. When we'd just out-grinded the Sharks (as shit as they are) at their own game and we got the chocolates.

Sure tonight was disappointing, but I don't really give too many ***** to how we play against bottom feeding sides like the bulldogs. We had an off night, had a couple of calls go against us and the dogs just had the ball bounce their way.

Where was he after he fucked that put down and the teams motivation so clearly dropped? He sure as hell wasn't laying down the law. He was too busy flapping his arms at the ref like Donald Duck.

If we were the storm and we’d had the season they’ve had (and their players) your comment would have a lot more weight to it.

But we are the broncos of 2018, at some point if we want to do anything this year we need to start seeing some momentum.

True. I guess he thought it was going out on the full. I forgot if it bounces out it's Broncos ball yeah?

Then you take it out on the sideline. It’s not a huge loss to go out off a drop kick. But it is a fair point Boyd was far out of position. Chasing ghosts... if Canterbury catches it where is he to defend? Also huge f up on what should have been an easy try. These things happen some times but when the captain f*s up who is lifting the team? Been problem all season.

Teams don't win premierships with Captains with zero leadership qualities. Boyd doesn't lead by example, nor does he talk or motivate. I don't think he is even well liked amongst the players. We have too many players on big money just showing up. A lot of people in this forum really like McGuire, but i'm done with him. His lack of eyesight in one eye is showing. Two weeks in a row now he has been at marker and fallen for a terrible dummy and let them score a try. He doesn't make huge metres per hitup, and he doesn't dominate the ruck at all in defence.

He simply isn't good enough to be a lock, and honestly I don't think he should be in our starting team at all next year.

Next year I think our team needs to be something like this.

1. Isaako / Boyd if he pulls his finger out.
2. Any winger who can catch... plz
3. Roberts
4. Bird
5. Isaako / Boyd
6. Milford
7. Literally any first or second choice halfback from any team in the comp (besides ours)
8. Offa
9. Macca
10. Lodge
11. Gillett (if he actually comes back and isn't just doing a dodgy insurance job)
12. Glenn/Sua
13. TPJ
Bench: Nikorima, McGuire, Haas, Fifita

Your quote on Gillett is very poor the bloke had 3 fractures in his neck and is lucky to be walking let alone have a chance to play rugby league again. W.....R.

Boyd in his present state is the type of player most clubs would be trying to get off their books.

But that’s Boyd’s entire career, only became a captain when he came here, who knows if he even wanted it? He’s never screamed captain but he’s the best we’ve got, I wouldn’t take it off him to give to anyone else in our side that’s for sure.

He probably wasn't expecting the big dummy to bat it back when he can get two hands on the ball. Honestly Boyd gets blamed for the weirdest shit around here..

Without a doubt.

I just think people posting that the sky is falling tonight, were 7 days ago fist pumping about how good we were.

I think Bird was brought here to be the long term captain. His never say die attitude, his ability to play through the pain barrier and his controlled arrogance was spotted early on by Benny and he knew we had close to zilch in the stables.

TPJ will be the next captain.
