Its not a character attack, I just think you ( amongst others ) are being a whiny little kid and a pant wetter about the whole thing. Nothing about you in general, just this topic. You dont respond to a lot of comments either. Tell us whats wrong with his commitment to the Broncos in his time with us ( should be interesting to see your thoughts ), tell us why what he does with his own life next year has such an effect on what he is doing now. Why do you let something that hasnt even happened yet bother you? I cant see anywhere that he says he is dumping the Broncos and is going to go all Gorden Tallis on us.

You also go on about him giving the media something after they have tried to derail us all year, whats he given them really? You have made more of it than they have quite honestly. Cant see any article where they have beaten him or us up about it. Could be wrong and if i am then show me. I just dont see it.

What's wrong with his commitment during his time with us? Well he has made the club and himself look stupid numerous times over the years with terribly timed comments and the bathroom incident, but the club has stood by him through it all. A lot of the supporters, myself included have copped shit because we support the club that he plays for because of that bathroom incident, because of the Third Man Thaiday thing. Why does next year effect me when he said the comment this week, as a Brisbane Broncos contracted player, as the rest of the team is focused on beating their main rival, he's sucking up to them in the media. What has he given the media? More ammo. Like they need any other reason to shit on the Broncos. 'EX BRONCOS CAPTAIN SUPPORTS RIVAL CLUB' will come out once they get over this Parker VS Bennett/Boyd thing that you're adding fuel to the fire with.

These points have all been made already and hardly responded to. Saying we don't appreciate it or would be happy for him to be dropped isn't being whiny. At this point there are better players in the wings and he hasn't been good for years now. People have been calling for his head for years, this is just the straw that broke the camels back for a few of us. I, for one, don't think his head has been in the game for a while now. Parker and Hodges could leave because they had jobs lined up. Thaiday has spent the last few years trying to land a job instead of doing the job he already has well.

I would also have been happy to see McGuire dropped this week. The hair pulling, whilst it has been happening to our blokes for years (Thaiday, Sims and Blair) is just dumb, immature and weak. People go through Broncos games with a fine-tooth comb because it's what gets the likes on Twitter. It might seem small but we don't need anything to make our season more difficult. Between that and Thaiday wishing he played for a different team, I hope our young fellas are surrounded by other people who can set a good example for what it means to be a Bronco.

Personally, i couldn't give a tinkers cuss who Thaiday supports next year.

I just think he shouldn't have said it was to be our opposition for next weeks game .... bad bad timing :eusa_doh:

Not understanding the logic of moving Boyd back to fullback if rumours are true. His move achieved exactly what even Bennett said it was supposed to. Left centre is covered. Isaako saved a couple tries Boyd would have never got to. The rest will get better each week with Isaakos line organisation and attack. I agree can switch them at times in the 20 (maybe first 20 for each half) for variety. This result is exactly what should have been predicted when he moved him in first place. I know need wins now but we didn’t get flogged last week cause of Isaako. It was crap mentality led by a fumbling captain who started the rot when he couldn’t ground a f***en gimme before most of the team decided to get high on horse tranquillisers for the next 75minutes.

You can always just swap them in attack and defence. I dunno how complicated that is, but other teams used to do the same. I remember the Roosters won their last premiership like that.

This is where I feel bennett has lost a bit of touch this year. So much chopping and changing each week and even mid game. Just seems like he is unsure himself what to do and it's trickling down to the players.

Bad vibes about this one. I think an embarrassing loss might be coming. One last hurrah for the fucking Cows.

Sam is trying to be controversial to attract media interest to somehow gain a foothold there when he is done.

Speaking of ‘done’ he has already stated he is running on fumes and got nothing left in the tank but our current coach appears to turn a blind eye.

Not hard to see why some of the team aren’t putting in.

This Sammy controversy reminds of 2004 when the Cowboys eliminated the Broncos from the playoffs. We hit the town later and seen Carl Webb celebrating with the rest of the NQ players despite still being contracted to Bris. (He had already signed on to the Cowboys for 2005). I thought it was pretty odd at the time.

Him doing stupid things and saying stupid things, or being " third man Thiaday " has nothing to do with his commitment to Brisbane. Has he embarrassed us at times? Absolutley. Is his form down from his best, again it is. If you were wanting him dropped over form thats a fair argument, and a totally different one from wanting him dropped for wanting to follow the Cowboys. I dont think he is any less committed when he plays, he just cant play to the level he used to. A lot of what you are saying has nothing to do with commitment. His effort has always been there, his form hasnt. If his head wasnt in the game, Bennet wouldnt have him around.

And again, where is this media beat up about him being a Cowboys fan. You are banging on about it, saying it gives them more ammo, where are the stories? You think they will come out, i dont think it will. Right now its a none issue even to the press. And as Broncos fans, we cop shit over a lot more than Sam Thiaday in a Bathroom incident. Not sure why you are so bothered about what fans from other clubs think. I dont give two hoots quite honestly, didnt think you were that thin skinned tbh to let what some idiots on social media say about the Broncos.

To be fair, without reading or seeing the whole interview, it's not the sort of comment that gives you confidence in him putting in 100% for us. Especially considering he was on the field, supposedly doing everything he could to prevent the Cowboys winning their first ever premiership, and saying what he did the week before we play them again.

I just dont see him as not trying. He no question has bad games, but thats just him getting older and not doing what he was able to. I just think people seem to be concentrating on what he said about the Cowboys and ignoring what he does here in Brisbane. He does so much good work off the field and good work to promote the Broncos people dont see they presume he doesnt do anything. He's no question a fantastic clubman who sadly made some mistakes.

Yep. Can see it a mile away. This and no McGuire or TPJ against LoLo and Scott...JTs last home game...Were toast.

All valid points.

But the comment still makes you wonder - would he have given just a little more if he was in a Cowboys jersey? Even just for that one game...

I have faith Thaiday will fire up big time and go all out this game.

We have no chance. Thurston’s last game at Suncorp. Thurston’s last game against the rivals that for so long went to golden point nearly every game. Form & ladder position means nothing when we clash, and with the Cows going shit, the NRL needs to give Thurston a high point to celebrate in his last year.

We simply won’t be allowed to win. We’ll be raped in the ruck, we’ll be raped with the 10 metres, every call will go their way and the “fans” of everyone but the Broncos will love it.

It's not at Suncorp.

I got a feeling they will be ready for this game, especially thaiday. People forget it's his last time round too.
They slacked off last week. It won't happen this time. Kahu won't be only one in isc if it does
