You can't drop someone if you don't have anyone to replace that person. The Broncos (like all clubs) have zero depth. The current team is the best possible side that can be selected from the squad of 30 and it's up to them to turn it around. Unfortunately for the Broncos, this squad isn't very good and it will be a real battle to make the playoffs this year.

Yes if only we had a depth option like....I don't know.....Jordan Kahu perhaps?

i didn't know White was on the coaching staff ... interesting.

but as i said before there is no way the guy rated as one of the top sports administrators in the country is even remotely nervous about his job ... especially given the club is going from strength to strength off the field.

people are far too impatient and want someone to blame ... but blaming White is directing the blame at the wrong person ...

it was always going to take time, given we are trying to change our structures and style. and when fatigue sets in and we are under pressure, then muscle memory kicks in and we go back to the same old styles that haven't worked over the last decade.

you only need to look at Souths last year for evidence of this ... souths started the season with 2 wins from their first 5 games, before finishing strong and ending up in 3rd position (and 1 game away from the GF)

oh and blaming White because Roberts allegedly got on the piss at some point since he joined the club is laughable.

When did I say White was on the coaching staff?
Go back through the pressers of when the coaching saga was happening, White himself stated the buck stops with him.
What’s going to happen to the sponsorship of the team if, hypothetically we miss the 8? If there are to be more off field dramas??
Do the broncos as a club have as much bargaining power if they’re not seen as successful on the field?
I’ve never blamed White, I simply stated he must be feeling nervous.
I am not trying to blame anyone, however the truth is as it stands we are not improving on the field whatsoever. Players, coach, coaching staff, CEO, there is multiple people that have incluencial impacts on how this team performs on and off field.
Can you honestly tell me we are progressing as a team, throughout what we have turned out in the 4 rounds of this season?
Are you happy sticking with this spine that we have had for over 1 year, that is producing absolutely nothing?
As for off field dramas, the CEO has a massive say on the punishment eg the Pre season Haas punishment.
It sounds like you believe the CEO has nothing to do with how a club performs on, and off field however I disagree.

Bennett jumped a sinking ship. It’s been sinking for a few years now and if Bennett stayed we would still be getting flogged because it’s the culture of this current squad. Our long term future would be so much better if we had kept a 70 year old Bennett around to get us into 5-6th for the next three years before handing a shit house squad over to a coach with zero NRL experience (Demetriou or Walters). Hell, since he considers footy to be secondary to life he could have given a few more 30 year olds long term deals to help them out. There's a reason why Souths were desperate to keep Seibold long term and waited until it was confirmed that he was gone to panic buy Bennett and then put him on a tight leash so that he couldn't make stupid recruitment and retention decisions.
