He was heaps good. He played 40 minutes and made over 30 tackles with the highest effective tackle rate of any nsw forward...as an 18 year old prop with 10 nrl games.... The blues lost momentum when he went off, he wasn't their best forward but he held the middle together and made no mistakes when the maroons rushed him in defence and got numbers on him. Astonishing for an 18 year old..

I thought we handled him with ease tbh, but his workrate and effort was still top notch. In terms of Impact though, I thought Fifita was more effective.

Ofa picked up a cut on his knee which ended his night, must be pretty severe you'd think. He looked really good before that too, been great since he signed his new deal.

Ofahengue didn't finish the match due some knee cut that was too deep to repair. could possibly miss the match

I think Oates is fine. I think he just landed a bit awkwardly. Finished off the game and didn't appear to limp after that.
I think he'll remain in the side. Ofahengaue is IMO a definite out and Gillett is 50/50.

I prefer Turpin over Macca at the moment but I don’t see what Macca offers off the bench. He has no impact and his only positive is a consistently high work rate over big minutes. What would bringing him off the bench in the last 25 minutes add to the team?
