NEWS Right price to deliver Storm’s Brodie Croft to Broncos

Go and have a chat to most players playing ISC. They pretty much all havent given up hope of playing NRL. Its not something exclusive to Foggy.

You know better than anyone on this forum that I appreciate an underdog smokey option. I see value in a lot of older reserve grade players because of the fact that they have actually out of necessity been forced to craft and hone their skills in order to get an edge on others.

Some players are thrown into first grade at age 18 because of their size and running game and they make a career of it. I’m not saying that’s wrong but it can easily have the same effect it had on Moses Suli. Thank God Des helped him because he has heaps of potential.

Fogarty isn’t the only option in reserve grade that would add some maturity to our side. That’s for sure.

But what you were saying is Fogarty had shown immense commitment and dedication to the sport to try to play NRL like its something not many people do at ISC level. How do you know he has? Give me an example of what things he has done to set himself apart from say, Aaron Whitchurch, or Nat Neale.

I like Nat Neale, I think a club like the Titans should have noticed him a while ago. Pretty sure he would not have let them down in first grade.

I don’t really need to justify why I like Fogarty. I definitely would prefer him in the squad over Aaron Whitchurch. Fogarty has more potential / a higher ceiling and more skills (kicking, passing)

Good player. I like him. Would be well worth signing. IMO

I could make Boyd look like a superstar when putting together a video. It's not hard to make a player look a lot better than what they actually are when you're only highlighting the good parts.

I can just picture you googling "Aaron Whitchurch highlight video" before making this post, there's at least an 80% chance you had never heard of him before today.

We can’t afford Fogarty. Obviously worth atleast a mill a year atm after dominating the qld cup. Roosters will sign him to replace Cronk

Theoretically, @upthebroncs might be correct on paper at least in that Fogarty at base price would provide better value than Milford on 1 millon dollars but its not for the reason he thinks it is.

If you plug Fogarty in to our setup and you don't give him a proper Halfback and give him shit service out of Dummy Half then there is every chance he'll bomb or fail to set the world on fire, just like Milford has since Hunt left. So I guess, if both are going to be mediocre then at least Fogarty does it for a heap less money, but that's not either players fault and its not addressing our core problem.

Give Fogarty a proper, experienced, game managing Halfback and he just might succeed, but with Milford, if you give him those same tools, there is a decent chance you'll have unlocked one of the strongest attacking players in the competititon.

Maybe from old footage, but 2017 onwards?

No one can polish that turd.

Do you think you could make Shibasaki look good?

I’ve been watching the Broncos for over 15 years. I know who Whitchurch is. What is wrong with you?

I even remember Mitch Rivett’s debut 😂

But you can sprinkle glitter over it.
In my vast experience, glitter will only stick to an unpolished, fresh turd. If it’s polished, it’ll just slide right off.

Too much adornment.
