Not sure everyone is aware of Brodie's pedigree before he came to the club. For example, not only was he captain of the 2017 Junior Kangaroos, he was Man of the Match in their thrashing of a NZ side captained by Jarome Luai. And vice captain of the 2019 Junior Kangaroos (Fifita was captain) that thrashed France.

He's been a disappointment to us, and Melbourne, but I'm sure his resume will look good to an ESL recruiter.

The key problem i see for him is that he has not had a chance to develop his game for NRL. Hes been in and out of teams. I think he was a semi regular at Melbourne but they have a very strict control system, which meant in the absence of his own style he had to follow their style.

I'm desperately trying to be optimistic about tonight's game considering their extremely satisfying victory over the Cows and their fightback against the Penrith high flyers.

But a good win on our turf over the hopeless Cowboys without their two Origin guns is probably not much to crow about.

Newcastle have a full squad (minus Brailey) and the Broncos are missing the incredible Kotoni which leaves just Haas and a bunch of plodders. Newcastle still stink but their rubbish smells much better than ours. Knights by 16.
