Burton has very different attributes to Tom. Burton has a lot of power and decent size. Tom would be monstered in the centres, and in constant threat of being tossed over the sideline.

I tell you who has an even worse record: Herbie Farnworth. 8 wins from 38 starts, and only 8 tries as a centre/winger, where most of the scoring happens. He really needs to get his shit together in the off season because someone has to notice how ineffective he is before too long.
lol come on. The guy gets the ball with no space and still manages line break regularly and often has one of the highest run metres per game. The guy needs a spine.
Gets the ball in the middle. Settles it. Doesn't pass. Nothing happens.

He's pretty useless as a centre. He can't pass and can't find the line. All he does is barge it up like a forward, ignoring everyone else.
