I think the other way. Billy has a much better running game and i think he would be more impactful as a 14 or even as the starting 9.
I hope you're right. Better still if both Kelly and Walters play like legends all year. I'll trust KW. Co leaders of the comp you know !

Great game boys.
We were easily the better team.
That Carrigan, Haas combo could be anything.
Drop Reynolds into this side and we can do things this year.
Cobbo was great, a few mistakes but never dropped his head. Sure, has a way to go but farrrk he will be brilliant.
I thought the halves played very well considering. Billy looked good and Kelly was classy.
Herbie and Staggs defensively were good. Staggs a little on the quite side in attack but that might just be head noise coming back from injury.
Not sure what Kevvie does with 6 next week. Maybe Kelly 6 and Walter 14? Not sure what that means for Paix & Turpin though. It’s a good headache to have.
I didn’t give us much hope at all tonight, absolutely stoked with that win considering no Reynolds.
Now it’s time to build on it.
I personally can’t see Paix starting. It had to be from round 1 or it just won’t happen. Plus I don’t want him off the bench playing 20 when he can develop way more with 80 at Q-cup.

Rabbitohs have

Storm
Roosters
Panthers

Next 3 rounds. Hahahahahahahaha they are gonna be 0/4 and incredibly low on confidence and JD under pressure immediately. Sucked in you whinging ****. 3 years later and you and your old mate are STILL going on about not getting a job. Welcome to the fucking real world

Also eat a dick Wayne, trying to set the fire today

The reason we didn't want JD is because every other bloke you've advised wouldn't be fit to teach at kindergarten, let alone coach men

Missed that, what did he open the coffin to croak?

1. Isaako - He was really good all game, one bad pass but a lot of good reads and was calm at the back, really good game - 8
2. Oates - Was fairly quiet early but started to really show his worth as the game went on, some tough carries and a vintage giraffe-like try - 7
3. Staggs - Was quiet and some really poor defensive reads but he just puts players in two minds and the right edge is going to be an absolute weapon once they gel - 6
4. Farnworth - He was a bit rusty and that is understandable after his lack of trials and his speed and dependability in defense is great, one dumb penalty - 7
5. Cobbo - Absolute hot and cold but more hot than cold, he is a weapon and is so good in defense, some really good try savers, he looks like he's improved - 7
6. Walters - Started really, really quiet but as the game got tough, he stepped up big time, very impressive back end of the game - 7
7. Kelly - He was really good in defense, threw himself around and really kept the Broncos rolling, will likely partner Reynolds well - 8
8. Haas - What more can you say about the guy? That win will be huge for him and the excitement that it will generate around the club, he was absolutely immense - 9.5
9. Turpin - He was a wall in defense but as always, offered nothing in attack, even managed to turn back time on the slow run he did where he earned a penalty - 7
10. Palasia - A bit of an unsung hero in my opinion, he was great and really held his own and the middle together, this was a great night for him, he's a keeper in the 17 moving forward - 8
11. Capewell - WOW!!!! He won us the game and who would have thought it?? His field goal was sweet (not too sweet obviously) and he saved a couple of tries with some last ditch efforts, what a buy - 9
12. Riki - Was fairly quiet but did his job, I like it if this is his base level because it is a lot to improve on - 6
13. Carrigan - Likely his best game for the Broncos, he was an epic one-two punch with Haas and throw Flegs and Kobe in, this forward pack is suddenly scary, really scary - 9

14. Roberts - Did he play? Nah kidding, of course he did because you couldn't miss it with the rubbish passes he threw in the back end of the game - 3
15. James - He helped to really keep the middle glued when the starters were off and he played a really solid game, having that experience there off the bench is great for us - 7
16. Kennedy - Horrible game because he came on and did two really dumb things that last year would have cost us big, a lot of players have upskilled, he doesn't seem to have unfortunately - 4
17. Robati - Not used much but ran with venom, almost scored too but hard to score him higher due to low game time - 5

Geez, what a difference it makes

If Isaako doesn't somehow flop that ball out to Capewell, we're all here digging it into Roberts for a bludger from dummy half and knowing our luck they probably score moments later

Instead, big dick Kurt steps up and nails it

Hey @Nashy how do I get my hands on that video so I can watch it over and over and over again????

Missed that, what did he open the coffin to croak?

I read an article today about him going on about us not giving JD a chance as part of his great plan for sustained success

Staggs and Cobbo are a 6 for me, otherwise i agree.

I think it showed tonight we need another option than Turpin. He cant play 80.
he can barely play 20. i know i been harsh on him but ill keep saying it till he improves. His service out of dummy half is just not nrl standard it is very bad imo worst in comp or close to.

if he cant get his service right he should at least me a running dummy half wich he just does not do.

can you imagine a cook or a granville playing off the back of the hass and carrigan quick play the balls. they gave us so many chances that if they had a better 9 would lead to many points.

but our 9 does not even have the game awareness to realise the defense is backpedddling and then follows it up with a horrid pass that stops momentum.

I use to be a fan of his when he first came onto the scene but he has certainly regressed a lot in last few years

Cobbo was good in defense tonight, I suspect Kevvie sat him down and they had a chat about some of his efforts in the trial
