If the Dolphins are smart, they would make a play at Tesi. He won't be expensive and he has the potential to be a gun fullback. It is definitely a risk worth taking when your other option is Isaako. Niu might well be gettable with Walsh coming in and then with Cobbo and Herbs as well.

If the Dolphins do it, they need a mature 6 and stopping short of Munster who they likely won't get, who would compliment the above spine?

Hmm...would he? That's a genuine question. As @Foordy said, they do have KNik too which I forgot but are either of them good enough / consistent enough to step up when the going gets tough and the rest of that spine is struggling?

Also, if Newcastle really, really want to keep Milf, I can see Recliffe just saying nope, he is not a dude we want to get into a bidding war over as he is a massive risk on big money.

On a side note, if I were Redcliffe, I'd be signing Berrell and running a 9/14 of Berrell and Graham.

He's a known name in town, so I think he'd be a worthy signing up here, they could still market him too for the club around town.
 
So they will have Gildart, Isaako and Hurrell in their backline next season? Wowsers that is going to be one impotent backline.

Is it just me or is the media's constant speculation that the 'Phins keep missing out on players and they are 'choosing' other teams a bit of an exaggeration?
I look at the list of players that 360 claims that the team has missed out on, and I think it's worth remembering that almost all of that list didn't go somewhere else...they just re-signed with their current club.

Maybe its semantics, but I think its a different thing. Players considering going, yet staying with their existing club (due to mates, family being settled, etc) shouldn't be that big of a surprise.

The only 'big' miss it would seem is B Smith, who left his club to go to the Roosters...based on the timeline, it seems this then impacted on them not chasing Mahoney as they thought they had Smith. And then there is the R Walsh story, which seems like they didn't really miss out on either.

Looking at it differently, more players are leaving their current clubs, homes, etc...to go to the Dolphins than any other club is gaining.

Agree or disagree, I think it's worth noting.
 
I’m that pumped with QLD spirit today that I actually now have love for the Dolphins and want them to do well so we get more QLD talent to pump nsw for years to come
 
Word is Milford has rejected the Knights 3yr deal offer and will sign with the Dolphins for 2 yrs.

Coming back home to Brisbane and to play with Wayne, cited as the big reasons.....

I don’t think that’s is the reason. Milford never wanted to leave Brisbane and I’m sure he likes Wayne. Way better than staying at the knights

Gildart i still think is a really good player, he just made a huge error in going to the basket case Tigers. Mind you, Leeds arent much better right now either.
