Did I miss something re Riki?

He was talking about being excited for the Dolphins match after the game and looked completely fine.
something in the courier mail about going for scans for a lisfranc injury w/e the **** that is lol
says potential to be the season but it is the courier mail so could be anything in between or nothing

Patty: It's only a game.
Ref: Obstruction.
Walsh: **** you ****.

It's that pause that's the problem. He doesn't go off until the ref says obstruction.

Our entire season has just blown up in the space of one game.

If you slow it down, he starts saying it before Fifita touches him.

He's fucked. He will get a month and at this stage of the season, that could have serious ramifications for the side.
Sailor. The Answer.

It's like the tigers game last year all over again.

Playing at home against a team that we're expected to beat... instead we don't bother showing up, get beaten pretty easily and a key player gets sent to face the judiciary.
I’m shitting bricks to be honest.

I thought the same thing. 😩

There's been a long history of it as well.

2008 Brisbane played Canterbury with Lockyer & Wallace back on deck. Canterbury were struggling big time and this was expected to be the game that pushed Brisbane up the ladder. Brisbane never got into the game, SBW had a Man of the Match performance and in just a few days time he's off to France.

2012 Brisbane played the Gold Coast when they were absolutely rotten. Brisbane had been firmly camped inside the 8 all season and were expected to go over easily. However the Broncos couldn't put them away all game then in one moment, Hoffman concedes an 8 point try, misses the next couple of weeks and Brisbane got absolutely wrecked by Parramatta when they were in-between Kearney & Sticky.

2018 Brisbane had the Warriors on a Sunday. Brisbane got them earlier in the year when the Warriors were the form team of the competition and Brisbane appeared to be stabalising after such an up and down year. Instead Oatesy bombs the opening try and the Broncos are never in it after that.

Even in 2006, the Broncos lost to a struggling Cowboys outfit even after they lost JT in the opening minutes of the game only to get beaten comfortably. I don't want to see Brisbane go on a similar run, but it was so bad the Broncos were getting beaten by Wests minus Benji and some other key players with literal high-schoolers racing in tries off of Brisbane mistakes.

I'll start getting worried if we don't turn up against the Dolphins this week.

Calm your tits fuckers.

Personally, I wouldn't have made the players back up. Haas and Carrigan maybe, purely because they're different though. Their work ethic etc is next level.

Could be wrong about that. It's possible he said "there's nothing to gain".

It sounds like he's saying, "it's only a game". But we'll just have to see what comes out during the hearing.
That doesn’t make any sense that he would say “it’s only a game” in that scenario.
