Why are people talking up the Cows like they're the storm? Did anybody watch their game on the weekend? The Dragons were absolutely shocking and JT13 pretty much buried them by himself. The storm would have torn the Cows' outside backs to shreds and neutralized JT13.

Correct, 'The Storm' would have done that. We're not the Storm and can't consistently stick to a game plan like they are so good at doing. Add to that our best forward is out for 2 weeks.

I'm not super confident that we'll get the W. Having said that, I'll be at the game cheering on the boys. Hopefully it's not too wet, we're in for a week of rain as it stands.

This. Run more than a couple of plays at him to tire him out. Make him do some defence and his attacked will be lessened.
 
No very confident for the W this weekend, Fox predictor has Seibold picking a x4 forward bench. Or will he persist with a back as in Round 1?

You'd think so, considering the Cowboys pack.

Can't remember if someone suggested or confirmed it but didn't Fifita play a bit of centre coming through? If push came to chove anyway.

I actually really like this, especially for this game, for a few reasons.
1. Cowboys backline is offensively the least intimidating in the league, opacic, kahu or oniell won't scare me if a back rower has to cover an injury at centre. The only possible bad case scenario is if nene Macdonald's wing (oates) has to be covered. Feldt is still out I believe?
2. The only way the cowboys are winning is the middle. Although we know that, it's still bloody hard to beat, we need to give ourselves a bit extra with 2 of our big middles out. Morgan may do something great on the edge but the only way that happens is if lolo (especially) and the rest are trampling our middle. If there was ever a game we needed extra forward reinforcement it is this one. Our edges will need to rush up together early if lolo is starting there too, we can't let him isolate nikorima
3. Quick feet and changing of angles in the middle will trouble the cowboys middle men big time. This will only happen with our forwards not being fatigued, the extra middle man safe guards us if we get an early on slaught from the cowboys. The dragons did this for parts of the game but really missed debelin for this. We also need to isolate lolo with this to fatigue him.

Yeah not a bad idea, but not carrigan and fensom. Same sort of player, we need impact and experience. I'd go with a bench of

14 Fifita
15 flegler
16 taga/fensom
17 mago
 
Tagatese isn't even starting in the ISC, so I can't see him getting a gig, I'd say Fensom & Carrigan are the only 2 vying for the last bench spot tomorrow.
 
TPJ starting was inevitable. I think we'll see 2 weeks of him in the 8 jersey, then when Lodge comes back, it'll be either TPJ or Ofa to Lock with Gillo shifting back to the right edge.
