It was good to see him not just running in a straight line right into the defence the last couple of weeks.
Kudos to Thaiday, he played well tonight and came up with a handful of really nice plays for the Kangaroos.
Let's not forget Parker either, he was fantastic off the bench for the Australians all tournament and that flick to Hayne against the Tomahawks would have to rank right up there as one of the highlights of the tournament.
Moving forward, I think we can all agree we need to see more of this Thaiday. One who isn't afraid of coming up with the big tackle or strong carry for his team.
I'm going to throw this question out there...if you were to select our fringe runners on form...would it look like...
11. Matt Gillett
12. Sam Thaiday
14. Alex Glenn
Personally, I think Glenn received a free ride in 2013 from fans. Understandable given his form in 2012, but still do you think that's a fair assessment?
Just get Papalii, all back row problems solved.
Good interview from Gillett. Not up himself, but realistic and driven to be better.
Imagine if they got rid of Hoffman, and moved Glenn to the bench in the same season? The Broncos clique would be grumpy...
**** the clique. I havenf been so mad as when I heard about that bullshit. If Glenn wants to keep doing that sort of shit he can GTFO.. And his is coming from the Vice President of the Alex Glenn fan club
Maybe the new ones haven't been designed or produced yet.
