2017 Line-up

Thing is.. we are seeing him do good things for like, a couple minutes in a very different format.

Glenn is tested and trusted. You don't just replace dependable veterans for rookies who show a bit of promise. Experience counts for something.. counts for a LOT

Glenn will almost definitely be on the bench for round 1.

Just food for thought.

...and be picked over Test players.

Give the guy time, no need to talk him up as something he isn't.

Especially based on 9s form.

Glenn hasn't played test footy in a while...

And I'm not saying start the guy. He is the perfect bench player at this stage of his career being able to play in the middle and on the edge in the second row and at centre.

Glenn AND Thaiday.

And it isn't like Glenn has been in the wildnerness for long. An injury denied him a Test spot last season, and he was there the year before.

'Perfect' bench player...please pump the breaks. :)

Probably won't see Su'A until Origin or if injuries strike.

It was just my opinion.

Do we really need a utility on the bench? Didn't we have a few games at the end of last season without one and go pretty well? Just a question, I'm not really pushing it.

Sua is clearly in the future plans for the broncs. However I think we have already signed him for 2018+.

I feel like his time will come next year once the 2017 contract shit storm clears and we know who is left in the team

Glenn is no impact player he's an average second rower a Hoffman from warriors type. He adds no impact off the bench and can't start so why keep him in the 17. Sua is a machine is my opinion he hits real hard and has great foot work also he can play in the centres. I would like Sua on the bench and to start over origin again.

No impact?!? No offence, but did you watch the back end of last season? Glenn provided plenty from the bench.

There's a line between optimistic and delusional, you just triple jumped past that line.

Whilst I'd like to see Su'A in the squad more often than not this year, Glenn had a huge impact on games last year and is still one of our most reliable players week in and week out.

Sua is just a boy still. Hasn't proven himself and has a long way to go. You'd have Glenn over him everyday in this period of time.

What irks me is when you get people championing these up and coming players and it's obvious they haven't seen much of them.

I've been impressed with Su'A and before the 9s thought he'd play a bigger role than most expected. But let's be cool about it and not have another Palmer Wapau on our hands.
