2019 Broncos Line-up

I think Souths would have some room to take a forward or two given Crichton Clark and Farah are completely of the books. More concerned they get a Flegler or Carrigan than TPJ or Lodge. Looking at our whole foward pack, I prefer keeping Offa over TPJ or Lodge if push comes to shove. Offa is a big priority signing for next year.

I think TPJ and Lodge have considerably more upside than Ofa as forwards, though there's always a worry that they are just here temporarily, and are looking to get back to NSW eventually.

They have to upgrade Cook who was on nothing money and is now the Australian hooker. They just re-signed SB on a mil a season (stupid). They pay big money for the twins as well. They have AJ, GI, and Gagai on what I consider overs.

With Shaun Johnson going on the market surely we should be trying hard to get him. Offload Bird and Boyd follow WB we are a genuine chance to secure him.

If Shaun Johnson hits the open market could create different moves.

Broncos

Halves Kodi Nikorima and Anthony Milford failed to set the world alight in 2018 after the loss of Ben Hunt to the Dragons. Nikorima, although playing in the halves alongside Johnson for the Kiwis, could become a specialist utility with Milford and Johnson running the show. Although captain Darius Boyd is the incumbent fullback, a move for Milford to the No.1 jersey could also make way for the Kiwis pairing to reunite in Brisbane.
With James Roberts at centre, the pace and creativity in a Broncos team that includes Johnson could achieve anything.

My average will never conclusively show anything unless we get enough data to make it statistically significant, which will never happen unless we stop making McCullough an automatic selection backed up by the worst depth in the NRL.

We also lost to a lot of terrible teams this year. I'm not saying that having McCullough out is the reason we won those games. I'm saying that having McCullough out was not a detriment, despite us not having NRL-level back-up options, and it is time he re-earned his spot rather than having an insane amount of job security bestowed on him. If he is our best option, what is the downside in making him prove it with legitimate competition?
Do the Broncos even have any young hookers coming through, apart from hetherington who I think is a lock once he puts some size on

I believe you typically grow muscles in a gym, not the Griffith University High Performance Lab.

I have no idea what exactly they're doing, but it looks this guy is the hamstring expert, he's also helping out TPJ.

RUGBY LEAGUE: The Brisbane Broncos will play a game in Warwick in what will be the first visit by an NRL team to Warwick since the mid 1950s.
The game will be hosted by the Warwick Cowboys early next year and is being co-ordinated at the Cowboys end by junior vice-president and A-grade coach Matt Grew.
"The game will be a big thing for Warwick as it will attract fans from across south-east Queensland,” he said.
"Our club is excited about hosting the Broncos.”
Broncos list and recruitment manager Peter Nolan is the co-ordinator from the Brisbane end and said Broncos coach Wayne Bennett was one of the main people behind bringing the team to Warwick for a pre-season trial against Intrust Super Cup team, Souths Logan Magpies.
The Broncos will not field many of their top players in the February 16 game, which will be an early pre-season trial.
"There will be some high profile players in town for the game and most of our up and coming players will be in the team,” he said.
"Last year, we played in a similar game in Theodore in Central Queensland and two of the Broncos players were Jamayne Isaako and Kotoni Staggs.
"We have played some more experienced forwards who need a run in a game like this in the past.”
The Broncos will arrive in Warwick on the Friday and Bennett will be joined by two high profile players as guest speakers at a Sportsman's Dinner put on by the Cowboys.
