2019 Broncos Line-up

I read that Dearden will end up with the Magpies. He'll likely follow a similar path as Fifita, where he'll play out the U/18s season and there will be a push for him to play ISC.

If that's the case, either Burns or Hamilton will transition to fullback.

I wonder what the deal is with Tom's contract? NRL.com seem to be under the impression he's signed a senior deal. Meanwhile the Broncos are quite adamant it hasn't been finalised. Whatever the case is, he's got a profile on the Broncos fan-page and will be training with the senior squad this off-season.
He with the senior squad and going to wynnum

Brisbane centre James Roberts is another who wants to play for Barrett in the future. Roberts played under Barrett in the Panthers lower grades, where the coach made a real name for himself and established loyal followers.
Roberts has been painted as a loyal disciple of Broncos mentor Wayne Bennett and many believe the fleet-footed centre will hit the eject button on the Broncos now Bennett won’t be there long-term.

Staying put: James Roberts is unlikely to follow Wayne Bennett to Sydney – or move to the Gold Coast.AAP
Reports have suggested Roberts could end up back on the Gold Coast on a big-money deal. There is more chance of him leading the New England Patriots to a Super Bowl victory. Roberts has a very close relationship with Bennett, who played a big role in turning his life around on and off the field.
That doesn’t mean he’s going to follow Bennett’s every move. Roberts is quite comfortable in Brisbane for the time being, having signed on until 2021.
He doesn’t see Sydney as the best place for his personal development. The 25-year-old isn’t ruling out returning to the harbour city in the future, but playing under Bennett isn’t a necessity.

Poor Andre Savelio has his work cut out for him. Imagine him sitting on the bench last year, watching TPJ, Hass and Fafita.

There's talk of one of the Burgess twins leaving Souths.

Would be good for a club like the Tigers, but we definitely don't need one of them.. would be dissapointed if Seibold signed them

I wouldn’t be against a Burgii for the right money. They both played well for 90% of the season. When they hold on to the ball they are two of the most damaging props in the game, able to drag 3 defenders for 10 metres post-contact and bellying out for a fast PTB. WHEN they hold on to the ball. They need a Freddie/SKD type regiment going to try to fix that.

Agreed, we shouldn't be looking to sign any big-name props. Our 2019 prop rotation is shaping up to be Lodge, TPJ, Ofahengaue and Haas with Carrigan waiting in the wings. Unless we lose 2 out of those first three we don't need to be looking outside the club for props.

I'd still like to see how he goes, he has great footwork and hopefully still does. Could play in the middle I guess.

Also talk of Johnston wanting to leave I'd be more disappointed if Siebold signed him

Possibly during origin period or if there are injuries. I think he was pretty close to playing in his first year if not for injury. Maybe would have played instead of Mago.

Haha that'd be horrible

How do you work out he was close to playing? He lasted 14 minutes before he got injured.

Did you have trouble understanding who I was talking about, or have you taken over Huge’s mantel.

It's only a couple of names that people are having trouble with, I'm hoping with a little bit of hard work & dedication we can eradicate all misspelling of members of the Broncos organisation. Apologies if you're uncomfortable during this transitional period.

Thank god I spelled TPJ correctly. Good luck with your , errr, quest. It’s important for you to have interests.
