Levi would be in the running for worst player to ever pull on the jersey. Gamble not only earns much more than Billy he requested a release and Jake Turpin is quite literally the second worst player to pull on a broncos jersey after Levi. So tell me why we would get rid of the minimum waged starting hooker who performed well above expectation with no preseason to prepare in that position and no cap to find an adequate replacement on minimum wage. Like I cannot fathom how good recruitment was the doings of anyone but Kev but when it is his son who gets deservingly resigned for 2 years on 0 extra money, has a good work ethic, great personality and highly liked that than his nepotistic father is the scum of the earth for resigning him when at the exact same time he could never be involved in recruitment and retention.

Anything upwards to 300k is very reasonable for Billy considering nobody else exists on the market, utility value makes a player more expensive and his performances this year were well and truely at a standard to ask for that. He highly likely is on less. So quit your whining cause point being is his value in terms of salary cap is well under the average wage and his output is immense for the amount he is on. He literally is a Moneyball player. Obviously when you have a salary cap it’s not ideal to be coming 9th and needing a Moneyball player but that is the situation we are in and as such he plays a perfect role for this team. Does anyone think he is amazing? No. We purely are just being realistic with our situation. Obviously anyone who is remotely better than him that we acquire or have in the future kicks him back to reserve grade and probably unless proving to be handy depth will be moved on at the end of the 2 years but at the minute he is the starting hooker and proved far more than alternate options so can you explain to me how on earth that anything regarding Billy and contracts over the last 14-15 months or whenever he was signed has been unjustified and or nepotistic?

It’s a ballpark figure. Every courier mail reported wage is quite literally a ballpark figure. It’s all made up. The shear fact you think anyone other than the club, his manager and his inner circle would know that in a competition that has undisclosed figures is pure ignorance. They especially become even more fictitious on the lower end of the spectrum because nobody has a fucken clue who is on what cause nobody gives the slightest of *****.

Quite literally the matter of the fact that the reasoning still stands if you add on 260,000 to what I suspected it was he would only just be making average wage. By being in our top 13 you’d have to think in a 30 man squad he could be in the top 15 earners. He 100% ain’t and as such he is a value for money player when he dishes up anything that ranges from average-quite good performances with like one or two pretty crappy games. But when they occur usually everyone has had one. So really the point still stands no matter how much you want to move around the ball park figure cause you have to move it a long way for you to argue that he isn’t beneficial on his pay packet.

No one is blaming Billy for everything. There’s 2 or 3 people questioning his spot in our top 30/top 17 and then a handful of people arguing against them for “blaming everything on Billy”
