Geez, Reynolds looked torn in that press conference today. You can just tell he really did not want to leave them, the management of Souffs have done him over and their fans. There will be some disharmony for sure, hard to see how there won't be

Not really IMO. Souths made it clear they didn't want him for longer than 1yr but he wanted more so Sharks and Broncos were the only options without them being in the conversation. Pretty sure Wayne said they were mad to not sign him up for longer than 1yr.

You have to presume Cronulla now definitely re-sign SJ, so that just leaves Milford and Ash Taylor both looking for a date to the Prom now.

Call me crazy, but the idea of seeing how Milford goes on a much cheaper deal next to Reynolds is more intriguing to me than Staggs @ 6.

I think Adam is one of those players that most fans look at and think 'yeah he's pretty good' but is never talked about as a Munster or Tedesco ie a player that you think 'man I'd kill for them to play for my team'.

And that's not a shot at Adam or the signing, he's just not that uber-marquee player the whole competition covets. But he just about is in the context of our club and what we need. This is sort of signing we should've made instead of Bird three years ago.

It will be such an improvement to every player in the side: the forwards will have their work actually mean something, Turps will have clear gameplans from his half to follow, the outside backs know they'll have a kicker who can put a ball where he or they want(s). The panic of 'oh **** I have the ball' from most players inside the attacking 30m will be gone, and it was on the decline with Gamble anyway.

Having said all that, I won't believe it's happened until he runs out in a Brisbane jersey for the first time
