OFFICIAL Adam Reynolds Becomes A Bronco From 2022

I’m sure Adam will get the warmest of receptions from the Brisbane crowd this weekend.

How ironic he’s playing against the Sharks. Hope by the end of the game they’re all feeling well and truly sick about the one they let get away.

Knowing them they will try knock him out in the opening minutes

When Souths supporters turn they really turn. it is quite amusing to read their forum.

some of the gems include:
  • Reynolds is a goal kicker, that's it, he's average everywhere else
  • all Taafe has to do is be a little better than Reynolds, "can't be that hard"
  • laughing at Fox for talking him up
  • laughing at us for being excited he signed
lol

One bloke said Taafe is better than Sam Walker

There were people on this forum convinced Wayne Bennett was washed up and Pies was the answer.

Reynolds won’t have nearly the class in the spine next year that he’s accustomed to. He’s still a good signing

He's a Brilliant signing no doubt and will go a long way to turning us around. However we do have to be carefull not to just assume his arrival makes us start winning.

I know stats only tell part of the story but zero tackle has him down for only one TA this year so far. He will kick us out of trouble, direct the boys around the field, get us repeat sets and put us in the position we need to be but we still need to get over the line.

It's going to be massive that our strike guys like staggs, Herbie, TPJ and hoepfully a 1 or a are ready to compliment him beacuse he won't be able to do it all himself.

Don't understand that pal. How did your NRL career go?

Hopefully a 1? Strike guys? You leave out Isaako, **** knows why when you talk about our strike guys! Isaako on his own has provided between 40 and 50% of our points and you omit him😳😳😳😳😳???????

I don't mind people having preferences but some credit where it's due.
If we do get a different fullback(hope not) let's hope he does better than
4 try assists
6 line breaks
4 tries
38 tackle breaks

Isaako is one of our threats and probably our biggest.

IMO, Robert Craddock nailed it when responding to reports that Reynolds didn't seem excited to be joining us next year when he said:

"The more excited he sounded about joining the Broncos the bigger slap in the face it would have been for the club he still wants to win a premiership with."

Yeah, the time will come when he goes through the cliches about how excited he is and what lured him to the club, but that time isn’t while he’s captaining the club he’s been at since a junior and loved since a kid.

As another poster said, I would think less of him if he wasn’t sad about leaving the Rabbits. Ben Hunt didn’t jump for joy about the Dragons signing him, and while most of us understood his decision (money was too good) we respected him on the way out.
