Weekly check in to see if he's still here.....Still here, carry on.

(Alarmingly last night half the panel was suggesting that once the truth comes out about Seibs, if the Broncos fire him now they will look like assholes. Give me a break.)

Yeah that was such bullshit. His personal and professional lives are completely separate. Plenty of people have been going through hard times personally when they have been fired for poor work performance. That's why they are offered support services etc. as part of the termination process.

Who knows what is going on but Seibs does seem to have become pretty smart lately in pulling the right moves to keep himself employed.

Challenges the club to sack him and says he will not quit, perfect way to get a pay out.

Comes out and says he has a family issue (which he may well have), great way to get some sympathy and compassion and a stay of execution.

It seems as likely as any other scenario that the "element of truth" was that Seibold had a family emergency. Obviously a man wants to keep those things private, so in the vacuum created by Seibold and the club's silence, some ***** invented a really juicy story to fill the vacuum. Social media being what it is, it takes on a life of its own and all of a sudden you have a chorus of different voices saying dumb shit like "he sure looks guilty".

I could be wrong though of course. Maybe there really are a lot of people who are mates with the editor of the Courier Mail and are willing to share scoops with random WhatsApp groups.

There were posters on here saying they'd heard from players/players families they know that it was true. Whether that was bullshit or not I'm unsure but I'm certain it's not completely fabricated.

I disagree that they are separate. He was fine using his kids as pawns to get here in the first place. I feel bad for him as a person but as a coach I don’t trust him at all

Lockyer let slip it was something about Seibs' daughter, not sure he should have said that:

Where are all the denials and messages of support from his players? The silence is deafening

didn't offa post something not so long ago?
He did but it was pretty strange reading.
Joe Ofahengaue said this when bailed up at training:

“We send our love and support to Seibs. Whatever he stepped out of the bubble for, whatever reason, we send our support to him. I’m pretty sure that all the video we watched this morning came from coach (Seibold). I don’t know whether they do Skype calls or whatever but pretty sure (he’s still in daily contact). He’s got good staff around him that we all trust. Pete Gentle is doing an awesome job with us. He’s adding games during our session to lighten up the mood.”

Exactly. They're sending a clear message he's lost the dressing room. This should've been the first weapon he reached for, not calling his fucking lawyer.

Like the player who’s wife has been implicated, fucking crickets coming from his direction.

Well listening to Joffa is not very enlightening, somewhat incoherent.
He basically said he didn't know what the **** was going on, but wished Pies all the best. About as diplomatically arm's length as it gets. Trump speaks more highly of Kim.

I'm not sure I'd touch that one either. Side by side pictures of the alleged suspects is the best defence there.

Does that mean we now have to write "he that should not be mentioned" everytime we wish to discuss the abject failures of "he that should not be mentioned"?

Why didn’t he get lawyers involved when other lies were being spread about him? Like when people were saying he was a good coach or that he studied at Harvard

I’m not throwing shit around constantly, trying to drive the outrage either. Do something positive.
I’m not throwing anything around. It really is shocking that no player has come out supporting the bloke other than some vague comment that didn’t really say anything. It shows nobody likes the bloke and imo that there’s something to the rumours. This is a thread about Anthony Seibold Discussion is it not?
