Crap, looks like Ronald's still in the mix for the rest of the series. Apparently Bollinger won't be available for the 2nd Test due to a stomach muscle strain. Brett Geeves to head over as a back up. Hopefully it won't matter if they decide to play a spinner.
Saffas looking a bit too comfy at the moment. Pitch is doing jack shit compared to the last 3 days, looks to have dried out a bit now. Still early days, but our blokes haven't looked remotely threatening since about the 4th over of the innings.
No matter what qaulity or lack of we have in our attack, what is Australia's problem with defending huge 4th innings totals? If the Saffas get this, which has now become quite possible, that will be the 3 biggest 4th innings run chases in history against our name - 2 of which coming within a couple of months of each other.
Early start again on the last day. So there'll be 98 overs, 276 required at a rate of 2.8 and 8 wickets in hand for the Saffas - on a pitch that as of yesterday looked to be settling down at touch.
First session will be massive. If they only need 160-170 as of lunch as still have a bag of wickets in hand, then we're screwed. And the first casualties should be the selectors.
All 3 quicks have had a dig so far this morning and at the moment they aren't causing many problems. New ball due in about 15 overs - could be our last chance if a few don't fall in the next hour.
