Australia v England Second Test Adelaide

Would be happy with 300 at this stage, ball is moving all over the place, will be great for bowling tonight.

I can see us knocking them over for about 100.

England will think they’re a chance for a clump of wickets here.

Paine unknown quantity and Marsh gives you chances.

Marsh has faced over 50 balls in 22 of his 44 Test innings, getting in around once a Test. Yet only faced 100 balls in 14 innings.

Breaks are killing us. Ill-discipline?

Runs added after being not out at an interval in this Test: Bancroft 0 Khawaja 0 Handscomb 0

Enjoying this counter-attack, this is why we brought Paine in.

Wade was supposed to be our aggressive counter-attack batsmen in the bottom of the middle order, but rarely accomplished it, let's hope Paine can go on with it for another 20 overs.

Don't want to put the mocker on him but Tim Paine looks high quality

Great innings from Paine, nice selection from CA.

Paine out with a poor shot. They suckered him into it. Well made 50 when we needed it

We have 300. Anything more is a bonus now on this track. I reckon our pace attack does a job on these guys on this seaming deck.

I reckon we just bat to survive this session, try and frustrate the poms. We've already got a decent 1st innings total, if we can hold out until the start of the night session we'll be well, well, well on top in the game.

Australia batted more overs than 2002 when Nasser sent us in.

Aus 492 and won by 384 runs.
Hayden 197 and 103

Marsh is looking like a genius selection at 6.

This is what happens when you pick on form.

Cook is going to need a Brisbane 2010 innings here- over 10 hours. He did get a 200 in a pink ball Test this year.

Root is going to need to up his in Australia av of 27 and 100 conversion rate. 33 50’s and 13 100’s.
