Who said anyone was in awe? I'm simply stating that we picked the players from FC that were in the best form of the realistic candidates, and it's paying off.

In years gone by we may have leaned towards being "loyal" and might be struggling right now with the likes of Renshaw, Cartwright & Wade.

Exactly today was brilliant but it doesn’t change history. We reward mediocrity now which is why we can't consistently win Test matches or series.

Marsh made his debut for WA in 2003 and yet we still have question marks over him, that's half his life spent playing first class cricket.

Would three 50's have got you in the Test side at any other time in history? Would three 50's be 'form' in 1997?
