Johnson has bowled rubbish tonight.. It seems he is suffering from a hang over from his holiday. Tait is one of the worst fielders I ahve ever seen.. Useless pile of crap I don't even know why they pick him.

Can't believe how every single time we've got on top this season, we've fallen away. It's happened in every single bloody game at some stage. Even tonight right at the end after that pathetic fielding display in the first over, we had chances to put them away but failed.
It's going to be bloody hard work snatching two wins in a row.
- Tait, by his standards bowled 'decent' and fielded as per expected, ie. shithouse. I understand why they're using him the way they are in short bursts, but hell he doesn't look up to it physically. If a bloke can't bowl more than 2 or 3 overs without packing it in then they shouldn't bother with him and look to a new bloke to bowl 10 consistent overs.
At the very least Tait shouldn't play in the same team as Johnson.
- Dussey, useless tonight. Dumb batting, dumb fielding and dropped probably the most crucial catch of the innings, apart from Taits attempt. Thankfully he didn't get his hands on the pill or it may have been over much earlier. He's capable of doing very good things for us and needs to really sharpen up for Adelaide.
- MIddle-order need to rethink how they go about their batting, cause at the moment its like watching the Poms trying to defend second man plays. Ineffective batting with minimum urgency. They need to start working a lot more 1s around the wheel instead of trying to slice every bloody thing to the square boundaries FFS.
- Nice to see Johnson back, but he was at his pie-tossing best tonight. Although after a lay off he may be excused this time.
- Happy to see Warner get going again. That was great to watch. Blues will be pissed he won't be around for the kentucky mcnuggets hit n giggle final.
- Praise be to Lord Bracken, for he is the father, the light and the ODI God. I love him, I wanna boof him, etc.
- Botha still pegs.

I know the Aussies are in a rebuilding phase I can excuse losing when players just aren't good enough but lately the Aussies are playing dumb cricket and that is what I hate... The middle order is as weak as it as ever been IMO but the like of Hussey brothers and Haddin need to show more urgency and smart to make runs...

I agree Coxy I think SYMONDS needs to go to rehab and i can't see him getting back in the Australian team. It is a shame he would be very useful in the one day team.

Braken's out of the next match with a calf strain and will be replaced by Harris.
If our batsmen don't produce by far their best performance of the summer, then its Seth Effrika by as many as you like and another series gone. Especially if Mitch and Tait are both picked.

I tipped you guys months ago that he was on the sauce in a big way, however that said, Silence is on the money with the sensationist journalism remark.
I listened to it on Sports Tonight and what he said about McCullum is totally taken out of context. He slipped up by calling him an insulting word, but Symond's point is a fairly valid one.
The real issue is with Cricket Australia (or T20...who is even the governing body of the domestic T20???) not making deadline's for player recruitment. It is a little farcical to be bringing the guy in now at this stage of the domestic T20 comp. That is what Symonds was trying to say.
Also, Roy says Hayden's an orsm cook and his missus is a looker. [icon_ee [icon_ee Stop the press!!!! He's.........an Australian! Who doesn't tell their mates missus she's a looker? We all do it. I'm sorry but the midle order makes no sense to me atm. They have a batting alrounder not making enough runs, when they really need a genuine batsmen and another allrounder who virtually never bowls or scores runs.
