We can all have different opinions about who is the better fullback option, but we probably all agree that the concerning issue is whether Bennett can be unbiased with his selections surrounding Boyd
Right now, "Team No" seems to be basing the argument on the "fact" that Boyd had a crap season but Bennett did not drop him despite having better options
Unfortunately, whether or not Bennett had better options is not a matter of fact, it is a matter of opinion
Rather than assume that your opinion is right, and therefore Bennett must be biased, how about flirting with the possibility that Bennett thinks keeping Boyd at fullback is the right call and that your opinions are simply different?
And if you can get that far, how about entertaining the possibility that when your armchair supporter opinion differs from that of a career coach with unprecedented success, that perhaps you're not the one who is right?
Coaches make bizarre calls all the time that we fans cannot get our heads around. It doesn't make them biased, it means they see things differently to us. Sometimes the wacky calls work, and sometimes they don't. That's footy.
