Why does Sams decide to bat well always against us
Form of the summer mainlyBurnsy, in the form of his life!
Denly looks poor at the moment
He's cut his hair which kinda ruined the vibe a bit. Still attractive thoughAnd seriously, is Chris Green the best looking cricket player of all time? He's dreamy.
Burns is batting well tonight, being very aggressive, so credit must be given where it is due. Both Love & Burns have had excellent seaons. It was a while back, but Love had a season where he scored 3 or 4 hundreds in the domestic comp, maybe even as an opener. I remember going to the 'Gabba for one of those games it was against a full strength NSW side. His ODD record isn't great, but enough about Love.
Heazlett has had plenty of time to prove himelf at the Heat. 31 matches, 31 innings, 14.86 avg, 122.86 s/r he has 16 6s in that time at a rate of 0.51 6s per game. Compare that to Burns - 48 matches, 47 innings, 26.65 avg, 122.49 s/r and 41 6s at a rate of 0.87 6s per game. While Burns might be more towards the end of his career than Heazlett is, the Heat can't affort after such a(nother) poor start to the season rely on developing Heazlett who has enough of a sample size to say he is a bust at T20 cricket, at least within the Heat system. Those numbers don't stack up enough to keep Burns out of the side. At least not for the next 4-5 matches. If Burns continues to fail, then maybe it is a different conversation.
Also, here are those 'grinding' innings you were talking about:
Strike rate of 151.85
Strike rate of 178.57
Strike rate of 153.33
