Ben Hunt vs Ash Taylor

I thought last night Hunt had much better control of the game. But why did Waddell refuse to pass the ball to him?! I lost count of the number of times Milford got given the ball on a short, and crowded, left when Benny had the boys lined up out to the right with Gillett and Roberts ready to steamroll Croker.

This thread is drivel, Ben Hunt is playing very well this year, the stats speak for themselves. 17 try assists already this year compared to 16 last year. He may not be running as much or scoring as much but he is getting others over the line. In fact all his stats look like they will improve over last year. Bens stats destroy Taylors. All of that truth. Every Bronco fan should just be happy that 2 of our products are turning into really good players. It was Bennett's call to let Taylor go to allow him to have a career. He did that because he knew Taylor couldn't in good conscious bump Hunt out of the side. You don't do that to a guy who gets 17 try assists+

The Sunday Telegraph have reported Taylor will be in Brisbane by the end of the year to replace out-of-favour No.7 Ben Hunt.
Bennett was a mentor to Taylor before reluctantly letting him go to take up an NRL opportunity on the Gold Coast. Don't be surprised if a handshake deal to return was done before Bennett sent him south.
Both Hunt and Anthony Milford have been down on form in the past 2 months and, as a result, the Broncos attack has suffered.

Wayne made the right choice in letting Taylor go and keeping Hunt. The media and who's who were calling Hunt the next Joey Johns last season this season they're all aboard the Taylor's going to be the next Cronk train...although Hunts form this season is down I'd still prefer him to most other halfbacks in the comp.

Hunt should be in his prime guys he has been playing for the broncos for a few years now and the way he has played this year i would take Taylor over him because Taylor can only get better. But u cant say the same thing about hunt. I just want this club that i like so much to go back to the days where other teams where worried about playing them

If this is true, then Bennett is becoming very, very questionable as a coach. I'm not going to get into Hunt vs Taylor, but backflipping like that a year after making a decision just makes me lose confidence in him. I doubt it's true though.

Or, Rothfield has NFI. Probably trying to maintain our instability as the Sharks head to the finals. Keep an eye on the shit he pulls in the next month or two. He's dumb as shit when it comes to league, but you don't get to where he is on no talent without being a shrewd rat.
