How do you guys see Ben in the next few years? One club man? I personally think that he will be a Bronco for life. Will he ever play for Queensland and Australia? My guess is HELL YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not anytime soon with DCE in his way and a full 5/6 games at halfback.

He certainly has potential to be great but lots of players have potential. While the bench utility role has stunted his development in attacking nous, he certainly has benefitted in the role defensively and a good creative halfback who can also defend is a massive plus.

He's way better than DCE.

Not sure if trolling...

DCE has a lot more experience than Hunt, is bigger and stronger than Hunt and is playing in a better team than Hunt. Hunt is probably faster than DCE. Both share good vision of the game and a great competitive spirit.

Edit: It's unfair to compare DCE to Hunt.

My thoughts on Hunt I make known often. You'll probably see me talk about him fondly on frequent occasions and it's because I see massive potential. Not every emerging Halfback can create the things he's shown he can do. He has all the skills. He's fast, he's tough, he has a good short kicking game, he has great vision and a really good feel for the game.

Whether or not he can transform that into a complete package remains to be seen. He needs to get his head straight and not be so hard on himself if he makes a mistake and trust himself a bit more. Griffin really needs to instill some confidence into him.

I'd love to see him as a Bronco for life and I really hope he becomes the player we all want him to be. But you know what? If he doesn't, well that's okay with me, too. He's shown us what he can do and he sounds like a hell of a nice kid.

He's not better than DCE ..... not by a country mile !!!

BUT....

He's our best option for halfback so i wish him all the best and hopes he reaches his potential.

Hope he can nail down a spot in the team and become our first choice halfback.

He's way better than DCE.

Bahaha i'm sorry but that's hilarious. Hunt hasn't reached his potential yet and is only starting to show good consistent form. DCE is a natural talent and has a superior running, passing and kicking game and sensational game-reading ability coupled with some very underrated defense and the little known fact he is a very tough player with the ability to bust through tackles with his strength. I personally think he is better than Cooper Cronk and he would be partnered with JT in the halves for Australia if I had my way.

I hope your comment was trolling.

what hunt needs is a full pre season training at half back and have a specialist half back coach to mentor him, maybe johns or lockyer. this is something that should have been done years ago when hunt won player of the year for u20's. good god the broncos have stifled his development, so now they need to right the wrongs and unleash his potential for 2014

I read in RLW a few about a month ago and he said that his father advised him to leave the Broncos to get his chance, but he went with his heart and stayed and also because he believed Griffin when he was told he would get his starting chance soon

I like him and he has potential, but he's definitely far from DCE's level.

He isn't even Pearce's level. Maybe with time though.

I think he'll be better than Pearce. Don't think he'll match DCE's calibre (he's a future superstar IMO) but he could certainly be one of the better halves in the comp from what I've seen. Massive wraps on the bloke and I hope the club does the right thing with his development this pre-season now he's the #1 man. He's sure got the heart and the right attitude - just what I want to see from players at my club! Shits all over that Norman dolt, how he kept getting chances at Hunt's expense is fucking beyond me and REALLY gives me the shits!! GO BENNY!!
