No. The Roosters deal was like a dirty secret. The potential Broncos deal for 2012 isn't a dirty secret, it's what everyone expects. So why would Bennett get sooky about it like he did for the Roosters. God there are some epic imaginations here at BHQ.

I'm just going to treat this the same way I did when the Inglis fiasco started - expect that he'll end up at the other club so I wont be disappointed.

Surely the announcement will be made within the next 2 weeks otherwise its an annoying distraction.

If you actually think i would sit there and boo the team, You are wrong.

While i would prefer the club didnt get wayne, AND i wouldnt be upset if they missed the 8 with him so as to show that he is no longer what Brisbane need... I will still support the club regardless.. I just won't be happy with the clubs choice and i will be the first to say Shit happens when we miss the 8.

I remember when wayne left a few people on here said shit happens if we miss the 8 without him its rebuilding time.. I want that rebuilding i don't want the club to give up on that and just get the "master" back.

I'm feeling this way as well. If he does come back great, so long as we can keep Hook as well and put a succession plan in place. I am equally comfortable if he doesn't and we keep Hook. I just want all the speculation over so we know where we are heading.

Succession is Lockyer, with or without Hook.

If Boyd comes back he'll be fullback pushing Hoffman to the centres. Hodges won't be around forever.
