We currantly have players who bennett played sitting in Qcup

He made the right call, Kenny is soft.

Reed maybe a solid player and a good defender, but you'd be kidding to have him over Stanley. Copley could go either way, still needs to improve his d.

Kenny was just about all he had. Unlike Henjak, Bennett knew when to blood players. To be fair too, Kenny was putting in some good efforts and wasn't going for the soft stuff he did in 2010 (why did he keep running down the fringes?!)

Then again, to support your point, Bennett was the guy who got rid of Petero for Clinton.

I'd take Trent Merrin and Dan Hunt over Tronc, Kenny, Dodds, Hala, Anderson and McGuire.

Merrin in particular looks like a great prospect.

So the story is now coming out that Bennett approached the club and wanted to return. He obviously wants to be closer to his family. I'd love to have him back at the club but not as head coach. Coaching director would be much more suitable IMO.
