Ah I assumed the Broncos had an Under twenties pool / reserve grade Light speed quick tree to pluck plays off if they so chose. A ' fastest team in the comp' option as the NZW mob are trialing in this format.

Ben Barba must be at about 30% fittness because Brad Fittler chased him down... could not believe how bad the Broncos just played. We need a coach who can actually coach some attacking football because we still can't score a try when it counts...

That was an ordinary day of football. A few points from the two games:

Ben Hunt still hasn't got a clue. His running options and kicks are still under 20's quality. Its going to be long year with him as our halfback. Just because he was earmarked as a future half doesn't mean we have to persist with this ugly experiment.

Gillett still shouldn't be associated with our first grade team. He needs another stint at the Dolphins

Barba got caught by Fittler. Looks like numb nuts Griffin and his "bulk up everyone" policy is working out.

[How often do we need to warn about this?]

We did play mistake free footy in the Bulldogs game which was good but that was against a reserve grade dogs side.

biggest worries for me are ben hunt, barbas fitness, and the coach.

biggest positive was thaiday, which is probably just an embarassment on the broncos for making him captain in the first place.

anyway i'll wake up tomorrow with a more positive mind.

Just because you have 50 games under your belt doesn't mean you belong in first grade you numpty. Think Ian Heron, Sid Domic, Justin Ryder. All played over 50 and would never have played first grade for any other team.

Name another club that Hunt would be the starting number 7.........

You won't accept mediocrity from the players but you expect us to accept it from your shallow analysis.

Canberra Raiders, he's better than Hodkinson so the Bulldogs, Cronulla Sharks, he eventually won his spot over Wallace so logically the Penrith Panthers. Oh and the Cowboys too. What about the Dragons?
