Let's also remember that Bird's "alleged" glassing of his girlfriend is not his first assault charge - there was that incident in a Cronulla nightclub in January and as far as I am aware that case has actually not yet reached the courts so he's still facing charges over that. And he hasn't even apologised to his former flatmate for falsely accusing him of the glassing:

All in all IMO the guy just continues to bring the game into disrepute and quite frankly I'd like to see him out of our game altogether. But I certainly could never support my club signing someone like him.

I agree, and just because he doesn't show as much emotion (not that i think that's true) as others, doesn't mean he's not feeling it inside.
