Broncoman's State of Origin thread of hope and despair

Something that NSW have got right is the aggressive playing style. To beat Queenslanders you need to get into their face and physically intimidate them I have learnt and seen this from personal expirience.

Aggressive, yes. I found it funny that they whinged about Myles using his head when in almost every tackle they will smother the Queenslanders heads into the ground and get away with swinging arms. NSW could have a better Origin performing forward pack if they worried more about playing rugby league and less about attempting to hurt everyone.

No idea why some people here in Queensland say that everyone in NSW is anti-broncos you will be very surprised by how many NSW people cheer for the Broncos.

I heard that Luke Keary is officially a NSW player now? is this true I thought he was a Maroon.

Yeah, since pinching Kiwis wasn't enough, you've returned to the old ways of pinching Maroons to see if you can win a series or two...

Canterbury are having a sale on their Qld 2013 Origin jerseys - $50.

I applied for a job at Canterbury every chance I might be selling Queensland jerseys and memorabilia come origin time.

I find Queenslanders fickle when it comes to following sports apart from Rugby League. Where were the Reds fans before 2010 (I've been going for years I experienced the lowest points), the Lions bandwagon and the Roar supporters.

The Lions winning games and actually getting shown on tv was what got me into AFL (I was 10 years old in 2001) and since then I've fallen off the bandwagon. I find international rugby so boring, let alone super 14,15,16,21 or whatever it is these days.. I went to Australia vs Sth Africa last year and I was embarrassed for them. Their game plan was pass to Folau and wait for a penalty so they can kick a penalty. This was a few weeks after they were telling people Australia was going to try this new thing called "running rugby". And don't even get me started on soccer.

LOL.... maybe nobody gives a shit about yawion, GAYFL and kick and giggle.

Everyone did when those teams were going well when I first to Brisbane everyone cheered for the Lions and the Gabba sold out at every game.

A-League though is clutching at straws it doesn't get to much attention from the public or media.

Maybe it's just rugby and AFL fans who are fickle? A-League struggles because soccer sucks. They need a back court rule and a shot clock to make it entertaining. Oh and naked cheerleaders. And a snake
