Broncos making announcement tomorrow

as for our away jersey, I reckon it might look good if they took that home jersey and simply replaced the main maroon panel on the front (and I assume the whole back) with white. But keep the gold & maroon side panels/sleeves.

Alas, I assume the away will be all white with navy where the gold is on the home jersey.

I'd be interested to see what it would look like with the colours simply reversed.

Personally, love the new jersey. Might have to get one this year, seeing as I'm still wearing my number from 2002. Don't mind paying $150 for something if I get seven years out of it.

I'm not quite sold on that jersey yet, but like Jeb i'd be interested to see what it'd look like with the colours reversed. I've always been of the opinion that Brisbane's away strips should simply be a reversal of the maroon and gold (or these days, purple and canary yellow).

I reckon that jersey looks fairly average.

But with "WOW" on it, any Broncos jersey is going to look pretty shit.

No team with shit looking jerseys has ever won a premiership.

Except Wests Tigers. But then it's a fluke they even won a comp.

It's nice they've put a bit more yellow on it, but FMD, they could be a bit more inventive with it.

You know, their fans really get pissed off when people say that... I don't know if fluke is the right word but 2005 will always go down as the weirdest rugby league season I've ever seen... I'm willing to say they deserved the victory but it really was a weird-ish final series without any of the big gun teams there...

They were the best team in the Grand Final, no doubt. I say they fluked it because they managed to come up against 3 teams in the lead up to the Grand Final who were woefully off their game (Cowboys, Broncos, Dragons). Any of those three at their best were far better than the Tigers that year.

But that's the problem with the premiership being handed to the winner of the GF. It leaves it open to a fluke run.

Hell, Canterbury got close in 1998...
