Broncos NYC 2014

I have found out the latest on Pondekas, not sure of the exact details but he has been released by the club..

I don't really understand the move myself. Pondekas has been one of the better players on the scene and while he didn't have the best season last year, he still had plenty of time left on his side and it sounded like he was in great knick.

By no means is it the end of the world - we've got plenty of good young talent, but it just boggles my mind we're letting him walk out the door when the other options like Greinke aren't as good.

If Pondekas doesn't suit the gameplan, then change the gameplan!

that makes 2 of us pete, the kid is a point scorer which is something that is desperately required. He is a far better option than quite a few of the top 25 in the forwards.

Oh well, only time will tell I guess......

Why why why let Pondekas go? Let sit back and see what happens in a couple of years when he makes hisNRL debut for a Sydney based team. Mediareports will indicate he once was a Broncos junior and was let go by theclub. Sound familiar!

Haven't seen a lot of him but Arrow and Adams are good backrowers. Have not been impressed with Greinke at all and as BP has said he gets dominated by defenders

With our juniors, I don't understand why it can't be a case of us having our cake and eating it as well.

I like our backrow stocks, I think we're well covered in Oates, Adams, Arrow, Lee & Barr has some potential about him, but I don't understand what the go is with Pondekas either. He's been a stand out of his age group for years now yet hasn't really been given a fair go by the club.

Aw well, spilt milk at this stage. I'm just excited to see how the boys go this season. I believe this is the best squad we've fielded since 09.

wouldnt some of those guys be better served in the QLD CUP?

They're not up to it, Molo struggled last week.

Which ISC team wants to be stuck with a 18 year old half? They wouldn't cut it and it would harm their team. They're more likely to go to Colts not ISC.

Didn't Fox Sports used to play a few under 20s games? Is there any way I can watch the Broncos NYC game tonight? Legally, of course.

Nope.

Knights play Panthers at 12pm on Saturday, otherwise that's the only televised game.

They are showing a classic game from 1999 between the Broncos & Bulldogs. Brisbane had to win to complete their miraculous comeback from the death.

Strange night last night, very greasy and it rained during the game. Very sloppy game and somewhat typical of this each group comp. At half time Broncos weren't too bad at all. Try just after half time got them moving and they were still very positive.

Broncos' centres were strong.
