This was from The Mole in Rugby League Week

The Broncos rarely go offshore to hunt for players - but they've broken that rule to sign a Kiwi back-rower who is still only 15. Potusa Fuilala, a rangy forward with good ball skills, has signed a three-year deal with the Broncos. The youngster from Manurewa High visited the Broncos a few times this season to get a taste of the place and will be eased into their system in coming seasons.

Hopefully we go off-shore and sign Hurrell as well, he'd be perfecto for what we need, some attacking spark down the right side of the field.

I assume that happened a while ago, here's a picture from his instagram with CP13 at training a couple of months back.

That pic probably relates to this part:

Remember when Josh McGuire said he wants to be wherever Anthony Griffin is?

Josh doesn't seem to think before he speaks to the media..

He isn't going anywhere... Yet.

Gavet gone as well.

Broncos Playing List Changes - Broncos

The Broncos have granted contract releases to outside back Jordan Drew and prop forward James Gavet.

Both players sought an early release from playing out their 2016 contracts at Red Hill to seek other opportunities.

The Club was happy to meet their request and wishes them all the very best with their future.

Jordan Drew has progressed right through the club’s development system, playing a key role with the Broncos Under 20s team in the centres.

Drew played in the 2014 NYC U20s Grand Final against the Warriors and also made his senior NRL debut in Round 22 of Season 2013 against the Dragons on the wing scoring a try.

He is now looking for a regular first-grade spot.

Kiwi prop James Gavet joined the Broncos during 2015 pre-season training from the Wests Tigers.

He played in our Auckland Nines campaign before coming off the bench against the Wigan Warriors in February’s World Club Series victory and during our NRL Round One defeat against the Rabbitohs at home.

Gavet suffered a ruptured ACL at training leading into the Cowboys Round Three home derby, ruling him out for the remainder of the 2015 Season.

He has now successfully completed his lengthy rehabilitation and departs with the club’s best wishes.

Well.. ****.

I'm fine with Drew going, I rate Opacic and a few of our other young backs just as much if not more.. I'm surprised by Gavet though, I thought for sure he'd stick around, I guess Wayne gave him the tap and told him now that Wallace & Ofahengaue have stepped up that we won't need his services for next season.

Best of luck to both of them.

I was really hoping Gavet would get back to full fitness and add some mongrel for us next year.

The article says he requested a release so he must have a pretty good offer on the table somewhere.

I wonder if that frees up any salary cap, probably not a lot. I assume Drew was on a base salary and Gavet wouldn't have been on much, maybe $250k.

Hopefully enough for Konrad Hurrell

The loss of Gavet is a genuine surprise. Best of luck to them both.
