Which he won't get here. He'll be stuck to one side of the field and he is the kind of player that excels when he is playing on both sides and getting his hands on the ball often.

That's a lot of money to spend on a player when we won't get the very best out of him.

As far as Lodge is concerned I would trust Bennett's judgement as to whether the guy is ready to turn his life around. Wayne knows he is running a football team not a rehabilitation centre so he wouldn't sign him if thought it was bad for the team. I'm as disgusted as anybody with his past behaviour but sometimes people wake up to themselves.
