Blake green sign with manly. So storm will need 5/8 next year. Are they still after kodi Nikorima. Who is better player between both brother kodi and jayden nikorima. If kodi sign with storm. Can broncos get jayden nikorima back from roosters.

Tom Burgess is being shopped apparently.

Souths fans apparently want to get rid of Sam.

interest?

Hell no.

You get a Burgess & they throw the mother in for free.

Sam is on way too much & IMO not worth the money.

Ben Hannant looking for a new home apparently, I know what people are going to say but with Wallace leaving and I'm not suggesting to overpay here but experience in the front row certainly couldn't hurt.

If we can't steal Napa / Sims away from their current clubs, I'd be fine with bringing Ben home on a 1 year deal.

Kind of think some people overrate Napa a bit. He is a great defender and can put on a great hit no doubt about that but he doesn't make to many meters with the ball and he doesn't break any tackles or offloads either. Great without the ball and average with it.

He averages 124 metres a game, which is respectable for a starting prop who's a defensive specialist. He'd be comfortably our 2nd highest metre eater next season in the forwards behind McGuire.

People like Blair & Gillett barely scrape together 90 metres a game.

Slater to 5/8 and Munster to FB

Yeah but making metres isn't exactly their primary job let's not forget

Given the metres other forwards around Napa make I'm not surprised much easier to make metres when your forward pack performs well or dominates. Put him in the present performing Broncos forward pack and I wouldn't be surprised to see it a lot lower in average and it's not like he hasn't put in similar efforts to Blair and Gillett this season either. Also is he actually off season for 2017, I'm pretty sure he signed with the Roosters till the end of 2017?

Hitting hard in defence is something we are really missing this year. Just compare our packs performance between this year and the last. It's pretty much the same forward pack, only very passive in defence and we often get dominated in the field position game. Even if Napa isn't the hardest running forward, he's still good enough in picking up metres, and his defence would be so welcome too.

I mean, back before Myles went to shit, he was mostly a defender too, and everyone loved him.

Sometimes just hitting hard could turn the game in your favour. Remember when Thaiday smashed JWH?

I rate him defensively don't get me wrong Alec and I agree it's something we lack but we also need to improve our metre gainage in general. But the real question is unless his actually on the market he isn't exactly an option for 2017 is he? I'm all for signing a quality more long term prop for 2017 if one exists, if not then that leaves us in a serious troubled position for 2017 where once you get past the few experienced props with some injuries or suspensions we will it becomes a serious issue. Glenn Lazarus wasn't just brought to the club because of his own quality as a player, he was brought to pass on his experience to the younger props on how to improve their own game. Something I could see a seasoned experienced forward like Hannant providing.
