Turning 28 in December, Tamou wants a minimum three-year commitment but with the pair expecting their third child, a move closer to family could be back on the cards.

Tamou, who was named on the bench for Australia’s Test against New Zealand on May 6, is expected to make a call on his future next month.

Let's remember Alex Glenn was a name tossed up in the pre-season as a candidate to move on, if we could turn Reed & Glenn into Lowe & re-signing Gillett and co. long term, I'd say that's a fair trade-off.

We should do a Swap deal with Cronulla just saying. Reed, Glenn and Kahu for Valley. (Cronulla losing Gallen, Lewis and Heighington) Glenn and Turn Reed into backrower. Kahu replaces Valley.
Obviously we free up the cash for next year.
We get G.I.
We get Valley.
Weve got long list of backrow talent bring in.
TPJ, Arrow, Su'a etc it goes on and on.

I don't want GI

I would love Holmes to be a Bronco.

I would be more inclined to get rid of Thaiday than Glenn (as much as i love Thiaday), I think Glenn is a very underrated player.

we can also still piss off Reed.

If we could snag Holmes we could have a backline of:

1. Boyd
2. Oates
3. Kahu
4. Roberts
5. Holmes
6. Milford
7. Hunt.

see, looks soooo much better without GI and Reed :smile:

I know people dont want G.I but i believe its done. Even Lurker 2day says 700k is a stumbling block but fails to mention we would be moving 2 players.
Reed and a Backrower has been the talk for sometime. I know theres been mention of Glenn by others on here.
G.I will be bought in to mentor Jimmy and give him the confidence to unleash all the time (like an elder to him)
