It'll be great to have Benji back in tigers colours next year. Hopefully for his sake he can finish the year off strongly with the broncos, perhaps even with his 2nd premiership ring!

I'm looking forward to reading the Rothfield column about how good a coach Wayne is and his ability to rejuvenate players. Might be waiting a while though.

Benji may still play a vital role with the Broncos yet this year. I am far from convinced with Knik's abilities. I am happy that one of the West's favorite sons is returning home. It will cap off a great career. A bit like Civo did with the Broncos.

Is there any decent utilities available for next year? I think we'll definitely sign one, we were being linked with quite a few of them earlier in the year. Cody Walker, Connor Watson, etc. (Both now unavailable)

I think Tyrone Roberts could be a handy pick-up, would give us another option at Halfback if Nikorima doesn't progress as expected, has a history with Bennett, arguably played his best footy under Bennett. Cousins with Jimmy, etc.

I reckon Jayden nikorima might come back home

What's the fascination with J.Nik coming home? From all reports he's been barely keeping his spot in NSW cup, constantly in and out of the team.

I hope he does well at the tigers. Think he will of used in the same way he has been at the broncos. He's been there to teach the younger halves and calm down the team off the bench in tight games. Not the key playmaker

Would you be willing to sign Jayden Nikorima for $300,000?

Even if the Roosters pay a percentage of his contract, you'd be lucky to get him for anything less than 200,000 which at that point where is the value?

I wouldn't want Elgey or Tyrone Roberts either.

We definitely wouldn't have the cap to take him for anything less than 100-150 I wouldn't think.

I think we'll just sign someone from Q Cup.

Typical fucking Sydney media. Channel 7 has wanked over the Benji to Tigers story, three separate fucking times in 20 minutes like as if he's some sort of messiah that will win them next year's comp. Are they trying to rub it into Wayne or some shit?

@1910 tossed up a good candidate in Shaun Nona. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he's invited to pre-season training.

Probably be happier around his bro and therefore play better.

KNik is going well and JNik is barely even reserve grade standard. Who would have thought just a couple of years ago.

I was upset when he signed with the Roosters, not because the Broncos were losing a promising talent, but because I had a suspicion his talent would be wasted in Sydney.

Surprise surprise...

Should have gone to hypothetical land aka Melbourne.

3 years ago Jayden was the better talent out of the Nikorima's and had the more promising career at the Broncos.

How things change.

It's a shame because he really is a talented kid and has a bright future ahead of him in the NRL if a club can do right by him. Roosters just threw him in the deep end and hindered his development.

All the promise and potential in the world means little when distractions in your life, the right attitude or willingness to do the hard work holds you back. Big Pete was on the money with his concerns of him moving to Sydney and since then he is a shadow of his former self. Heading back to Brisbane might help but nothing is certain and personally I'm not sure If I would want him back in his current state, especially if it costs the same or more then what it would have cost to keep Marshall on.

Yeah , i was pretty filthy we lost him . Not sure if im to worried about getting him back, but you can't underestimate Wayne's touch . He would definitely need to see out his contract if we wanted him back , that way we can low ball him.

I'd rather look at our options in the Intrust cup or around elsewhere.
