Haas is by far a better prospect. Tino is a good young kid but still struggling at the QLD open schoolboy trials. Will be lucky to be named in the QLD. David Fifita is the best schoolboy player in the country and is signed to the Broncos. Will be named player of the carnival. Storm will be very concerned about the amount they paid for Tino, he wouldn't be in the top 10 players at the carnival.

you are kidding yourself, fifita plays in a sth coast team full of kids who all go to school together, train and play together everyday. the south coast team is so far advantaged of any other team its not even comparable.
100% i agree fifita will be the player of the carnival, doesnt mean anything in the long run. do i think he will play nrl?? most likely. however i doubt it will be with us. he will demand big money and we already have sua and the likes locked up. fifita is off contract next year so should be interesting.
paix is dam good, as is the kid of gilberts from met north. boyd plays off the back of fifita, if you put paix in the sth coast team he would dominate even more. boyd is a programmed halfback and aits on one edge all day. move him to the darling downs team and he would be middle of the pack.
i think you also need to remember the squad tino plays in, wide bay are known year in and year out for not having any more than 1 or 2 decent players.
being named in the qld team isnt the be all and end all for careers. have a look at the qld schools programme. not many kids named in the qld team have gone on.
last thing, fifita is yet to test himself against men.

Yes. He's 17 and goes to Keebra. Been in Broncos system since he was 13. The most dominant schoolboy player I have ever seen. Melbourne can have Tino. Haas, Flegler and Fifita are streaks ahead of him.

Really hope we don't sign him, never rated him that highly. Would prefer to give someone like Shibasaki a shot.

it will depend on cash mate, fifita can probably play nrl at 18/19 and i know plenty of clubs dont have the depth we do so they will come for him
