Well that's not exactly the only way to measure a season. Surely you watched the games? Which games do you think we played well in? We were shit, all year except for the Cowboys game. Did you see a game where it looked like we had a clue? I didn't. And my dumb ass watched every game twice this season.

We looked a lot better with Milf and Dearden in the halves. We weren't too bad against the Roosters, not too bad in the second half against the Dogs (without Dearden). Far from 'shit' in those games.

Had to go look them up. I'm a huge fan of DCE, it would be an absolute miracle if it happens (we're due one aren't we?) I have no idea why manly would want to give up the Queensalnd and Australian halfback.

You are joking, surely. Fifita is a weapon at 19yo and will only get better. DCE will be 31 when next season starts and would want far too much money. Croft is a much better option and keep Fifita.

Like I said, I wasn't even talking about BHQ. I was talking about the media and the fans alike. I just want them to reach their potential and play good footy without the excuses being made all year. If they aren't what's best for the team then they should be demoted to Q Cup ASAP. I'm not just talking about Milford and Isaako, I'm talking about Boyd and Macca as well. Both absolutely should start the season in Q Cup. It's not about blame, it's about excuses. I don't want to hear about Seibold not getting a say in who plays (This was bullshit by the way, he had no other options), I don't want to hear about Milford not having a half to help him (He is the half that needs to step up), I don't want to hear about Isaako's dad affecting him (He was making the same mistakes before it was a thing), same with Ofa, I don't want Pangai missing half the season for dumb mistakes, I'm not going to make excuses for Boyd or McCullough either, because neither deserve the support after the last game they played. Do you disagree?

Agree, with every one of your sentiments. But the most important piece of accountability I want to see next year is internal accountability, that is, if someone is derping it up for a number of games in a row, they get dropped, until their form warrants re-selection. Does not matter who they are, what they are being paid, what position they are in, they get dropped.
If there is no apparent replacement, just give one of the young players a crack and see if they have what it takes to own the position.
I have another season where there is no apparent accountability, my interest in this club will begin to wane rather rapidly.
And whilst I am on my soapbox, ffs, stop playing players out of position.

Parts of it are. When it was:

6.Milford
7. Dearden
9. Turpin

We looked pretty good. Even Boyd was a little better at this time. It's not elite, though. But it would allow for elite support around the spine.

I think that spine was the starting side for all of 8 mins against the titans before Dearden got injured.
