The less we have of feeder clubs the better gets our squad closer together get combinations going.

That would probably only work if we either had our own team in ISC or We sent the majority of our players to one club. I dont see either happening.

I reckon B Hunt would be great for us if he come back as a 9.
Saints are locked in at 1.2m for the next 3 years. I'd be happy to chuck 500 his way if the saints pay the balance but only as a 9.

No thanks. We need winning mentalities at the club like Carrigan, not perennial losers and sooks like Hunt.

Don't know how I view this. I like that there will be less clubs our players are spread over but I also want the club to have links throughout south east Queensland. I think it's a tactical move more then anything by redcliffe due to their NRL application...

Don't think it's a good move by redcliffe talent attracting wise though. Imagine your 12 year old son was an obvious prospect and there was a decision needing to be made between playing for the region/club that could keep you local via links with the broncos, or you go with redcliffe and get the inside running to... change countries and be out of sight of all the Australian rep teams... um, not a hard choice...

Blokes we are short a hulking forward. Or at least a genuine front rower. Surely we have a plan in place, our team is Rock solid otherwise.

Sua, TPJ, Joe or Arrow need to step up big time of we aren't picking up someone.

well....I can offer the following....

23 year old Prop

ran the 2nd most metres in the NSW cup, topped the tackle count, lead the comp in decoy runs and post contact metres

his name is Lachlan Timms, and he's on our books...

Apparently broncos dropped all feeder teams and will reassess in august when they know the landscape of the game. Apparently dolphins didn’t want to wait and this was a way they could continue their path to making their NRL bid. That’s redcliffe and Ipswich gone this year

It's all falling apart. Rats fleeing the ship.

Maybe the Warriors simply wanted to get their juniors out of the NSW system and into the QLD cup and no better way then through Redcliffe. Seems reasonable If they did the right deal. Good luck to them.

Can’t see how Brisbane could possibly be better off without being associated with Redcliffe. So many great Broncos have come out of that club.

To be fair to Redcliffe though, given they do have genuine NRL aspirations it’s probably better for them to distance themselves from the Broncos who would obviously be their closest rivals.

Redcliffe wont have any trouble finding young players to join their system.

Eh, Ricky Stuart cracked the shits and dropped all feeders and the it didn’t seem to impact the Raiders at all. Though they did turn the entire super league into a feeder club.

which makes me wonder, surely there’s a decent English hooker dying to play NRL at a bargain price.

apparently they were already planning to pull their team in the NSW Cup so this may have been brewing for some time

Mounties are the current Raiders feeder club.

Just another team who has their hand in the QLD cookie jar that the Broncos apparently have a monopoly on #AdvantageBroncos

In a sense it’s probably pleasing to see more and more clubs recognising the quality of the Queensland competitions and choosing to get involved with it. It might not be good for the Broncos but surely it’s good for Queensland.
